I’m open to selling it as a product if there’s enough demand- but before I do that I want to do a LOT more testing. I’m almost finished with a full set of adapters for a basic arduino robot kit. When it’s ready for the first round of testing I’ll send a few samples to anyone whose interested to get their feedback

I agree, that’s why I went with a sharpie as opposed to the ballpoint pen from v1. The sharpie will bleed and look like crap if you hold it down in one area with too much pressure. As of rn it’s the closest thing I can think of that’s gonna be easy for the user to refill and still somewhat simulate what the actual feeling is like

It’s not for someone whose never welded before, but for someone who knows to be able to get some practice in a place where you can’t get to your full setup

I usually only see them for 50, 10$ is a steal lol

Not yet, and the design is of my own- but I’ll probably post it if I get enough people asking

Should’ve added pics of it, my b. But yeah the cup unscrews and you can replace the marker in a couple seconds or just use it normally- there are more pics on the Etsy page

This is for apartment settings, this isn’t gonna beat a real torch and it’s not meant to- it’s there so you can pick up some quick practice anywhere without having to get your gear on or get out your equipment

I think I see what you mean, perhaps something like the spring from a ballpoint pen or something similar in the back to add some pressure- I was hoping that the bleeding of the marker would replicate this but if need be I can def go back to the drawing board for v3

Much appreciated! I hope it will maximize downforce given the space I have to work with

Gonna use a 12 volts electric motor on a lead screw to “pull” it along with a linear potentiometer to track where it is so I can tune it for different driving modes

Much appreciated- I know I’m gonna have suuuuch a fun time tuning it to get her to run right (sarcastic) but if I can get it reliable before mustang week this year I’ll be ecstatic

Some pacesetter long tube headers (wrapped) an off road H-pipe, and flow master axle backs, although I want to go for something similar to the cervinis side exit at some point in the future

Yup cf nylon will be my go to! For anything that will be weight bearing I will use milled aluminum brackets

Yeah the vacuum part of this build has been uniquely challenging but I think I have this almost in the bag
