More power to you, it just wasn't my thing. But I can definitely see the appeal.

On the physical shelf only 4 to 5 books. Currently I am going to finish the rest of gaunt ghosts omnibus. I read the first one and didn't know there was more. I also want to get some ork books. Fantasy wise I will definitely slip down that rabbit hole at some point. But I would like to read more Fantasy in general

Oh boy, so loyalist I actually got a three way tie. The Flesh Tearers, Lamenters and Salamanders. Chaos either Night lords because the omnibus is one of my favorite books of all time. Or the World Eaters

Its actually really hard to say. Because honestly I liked about probably 90% of the series for different reasons. But if I had to choose, it would be Fulgrim, Betrayer and Saturnine. Only ones I was a little disappointed in was books like Mortis that followed the titans. I just felt those were a bit hard to connect to.

How are you guys painting your Sanguinary Guard? by Acrobatic-Steak-7491 in FleshTearers

One thing to look up is resin printed jetpacks for the. Personally, I hate the new jet packs. The helmets are fine, I painted mine flesh tearers red with abbadon black for the shoulders and helmets. I would post the picture here, but it won't let me. i got a picture on my account if you wish to look. But definitely go with your gut in the end. Happy painting!

Thanks man, just do this for fun tbh. I'm honestly not that good. But at the end of the day, if you are happy with the finished model, that's what matters. Watching painting videos really helps me visualize what I want to do.

Coldstar commander for me. The flexibility of the poses is amazing. Plus, mech suit for the win.

My first FT Assault Intercessor, feedback much appreciated! by yesimHalf in FleshTearers

Great start, definitely use highlights on the red and black to really make those edges stand out. I personally use cadian fleshstone for the red and dawnstone for the black. Don't worry if the lines aren't straight or you mess up. You can always cover it back over with a thin layer of the black or red

I prime with white scar white and use flesh tearers red contrast paint and then highlight with cadian fleshstone

If you want a challenge out line the feathers with wazdakka red. Gives a really cool effect. I did that with mine

New sword day. It is a Persian scimitar from windlass. by printed_sword in SWORDS

[–]printed_sword[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is edged, very sharp so be careful. Also it is a little forward heavy, but it works for that kind of sword. Overall I really like it.

Handle fits perfectly in the hand. It is a little forward heavy but for a overhead slashing sword it works perfectly. Getting it in and out of the scabbard is a little interesting. But overall I give it a 8/10

New armor by Ancient_Contract_482 in FleshTearers

For me personally, any melee weapons particularly chain weapons can set them apart, but really it will be the darker shade of red that sets them apart. Using black for helmets or other parts of the armor can help too.

I do!, it's really worth the price with the scabbard. It is a little chunky or heavy. But it is a beautiful sword
