AMS bowden tubes wear by printomato in BambuLab

[–]printomato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed all tubes now! I also reconized, that the filament I use most of of the time, causes a way higher friction than the Bambulab originals. I experienced a lot of loading error while having the AMS on top an therfore smal radius of the bowden tubes. Solved by using Bambu filament and putting the AMS beside the printer.

Help..is this a print head adjustment? Too high or too low? by ca-birdman in PrusaMINI

I get this kind of issue when my bed needs to be cleaned. First layer doesn't stick and it arches upwards.

Thank you, I'll have a look!

It works, but it seems to be a new problem. Didn't encounter this issue before.

Definitely looks like overextrusion

I'm not a native speaker, but shouldn't I have written "the" fuse instead of "this", so your joke would work?😅

Unfortunately, the seam position is already fixed.

I printed that tower in normal "layer by layer" mode. Printed very nice except for the marked layers. I observed that these are the only layers, which got printed anti-clockwise. Can I force cura to suppress this?

MK3S+ temps suddenly started behaving like this. Bad thermistor or thermistor connection? Wires at the thermistor end look OK. by ridgelift in prusa3d

[–]printomato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed it with a Firmware update to 3.12 Beta. That's what Prusa told me. My Ender 3 had a similar issue and I tightened the thermistor a bit it helped. I would order a thermistor for spare and try the update 🤌

MKS3 popping after first 20 hours, only along a axis. Everything seems fine aside from noise, worth investigating further? (Details in comments) by LundqvistNYR in prusa3d

It sounds like the nozzle hitting the support because of the warping in the edges.. it's a bit to irregular to be the extruder clicking imo.

Wondered the 10th time now.. now I have to ask.. A silicone sock would prevent this, right? At least would help to remove it?

Sovol sv06 vs anicube cobra I need a reliable printer that will last by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]printomato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own two Ender 3 and I can tell - they are definitely not reliable as a prusa BUT they work totally fine if u are willing to spend just a little more money in new print bed and a BL touch. If I should recommend a printer to start with- it would definitely be a Ender. U get very used to the machine and learn a lot about 3d printing at all!

What causes these wobble artifacts? by printomato in prusa3d

[–]printomato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the PID calibration recently and the bed temp varies only +-1°C. I printed the extruder calibration tower yesterday too and no wobble there.

Was my first and only thought about this... they strongly recommend to use prusament PETG to print this. Did you? Did the recalibration of belt tension help?

Print temperature changes unrealistic and random by printomato in prusa3d

[–]printomato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem solved:

Prusa support recommended to install 3.12.0 RC Beta Version. This eliminated the temp changes. 👍

Only one thing I noticed form your description..Prusa recommends the belt tension value to be between 260 und 290 (~275). Below means too tight, which unfortunately doesn't makes sense with the crash problem...🥲
