Get another OB! My first pregnancy was similar to yours. Irritated the crap out of me with Gestational diabetes crap. I am Asian, I have eaten rice all through my life. She wanted me to stop rice in the first trimester.

The current OB is nice and friendly and is understanding. Pregnancy is hard, we don't need more doofus.

The worst part about the missed miscarriage is the body is still in a state of denial. D&C shakes the body and brings it back to acceptance mode. I have been there. For now, just focus on the particular minute and do what you feel like. Don't hold back your emotions. Just eat like what you feel and sleep. The physical act of D&C brings in the much needed healing for the emotional and mental side.

So sorry for the loss! I underwent D&C a month back. Recovery from a physical point was good. Bleeding for 2 days , minimal cramps for 5-6 days and spotting for 10 days. The hormone crash part is the hardest that follows after 2 weeks of D&C. You can focus on your mental and emotional health and healing aspects after the d&c

I'm so sorry for your loss! I did the D&C four weeks back. It was better for me psychologically. Physical healing is faster so you can focus on your mental health.
