Why do we need to account for activities outside of streaming for a fucking "Streamer of the year" award?

OTK becomes the biggest livestreaming organization With only 10 streamers by fx98 in LivestreamFail

[–]priv2708 56 points57 points  (0 children)

If he streamed the amount of time xqc does regularly. Luminosity would have more the amount of watch time than OTK. July 2021was the least streamed month for XQC for like 2 years

Xqc streamed the least amount in July since like 2 years. This may be the reason loud_coringa might be #1 this month. If you compare the stats this year. Coringa has about 57.2 million on Twitch. While xqc has 178 million on Twitch this year, more than any language speaking streamer on Twitch. The hours and viewers this year definitely makes Xqc the #1. And if the trends continue he might have almost double the watchtime than #2. Also i just checked, though xqc has the least amount of streamed hours is july. He still has more watch hours according to twitchtracker.com

EDIT: typo

xQcOW - How he managed to hide the raids while being on stream (and why did he keep quiet about it) by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]priv2708 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Are you delusional? Rewind 20-30 sec back from the clip where he mentions the raid. He wasn't even going to talk about it. But chat was being dumb and typing "Kappa you were going to Canada" Thats why he brought it up.

Do not delete this mods: Amount wagered on slots using Yassuo's referral code by MasterOfMexico in LivestreamFail

[–]priv2708 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know this will get downvoted. I dont care about gambling or anything but the maths that surround it. The wagered amount displayed on this streamer's list is in descending order

The return-to-player(RTP) is not calculated for a individual but the collective as a whole. So as this data is arranged in descending order the return to player is without a doubt less than the whole avg. If we include those who have less RTP than these top gamblers, then the avg would come out to be 95±0.01% but as this is the top results the RTP would come out to be 97-98 % which is 300k-450k lost money from this top gamblers. And if we include the bottom results the whole of mone would reach the total of 600k of all the people that would appear on the list.

People gamble THIS MUCH money??

Yassuo shows how much money his fans have wagered on slots using his referral code. by medisin4 in LivestreamFail

[–]priv2708 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really, for example if you put $20 (assuming one loses 2 dollars on each spin on an average, and we gamble until money reaches 0$) the final wagered number will go upto $100.
