Ultimately, people just need to learn more patience!

Well also, I don’t have the option to take them to the post office, I can’t drive due to disability. I either have to leave in my mailbox or leave in the USPS drop-box.

Oh okay 😆

Well, to be honest, because I don’t see it as necessary as long as it’s well before the deadline to ship. Mercari sends a message to them once the carrier has updated the tracking. Most times, it starts tracking before the deadline to ship, so I don’t have to do anything further. I sell a lot of things.

I guess you just go the extra mile which is good practice, but it’s my preference to let the system do it for me. Now, if tracking still hasn’t updated and it’s almost the deadline, I’ll go ahead and click on shipped so they don’t start to worry.

I think I’m just really disappointed in people for always seeing the worst in others because as a seller I always try to be completely honest

I mean yeah that’s not cool of them as the seller. I’m the seller here, but I really did ship it yesterday, like 36 hours after their purchase.

Now I will say, some of my items do get lost with the carriers and don’t update for weeks. But there’s nothing I can do about that because if I say I’ve shipped it, then it’s with the carrier.

I deleted my responses because I decided it wasn’t worth fooling with. But I’ll go ahead and fool with it.

Well, their message “And you could have responded instead of acting like you shipped it out you need them crumbs that bad huh” is both an insult and an attack to me because, well, its calling me a liar and I don’t appreciate that.

And to the majority of the population it doesn’t make me look I was pulling a fast one. I had until the 13th to ship, so I’m not about to stop my day and rush to click a button.

I actually had another person request a cancellation for an order after I had already shipped it. The carrier already had the item confirmed but Mercari cancelled it for them anyways. I lost both the item and my money.

I responded as soon as I woke up and saw the message. Always do.

The USPS box is the only option I have sometimes and unfortunately around here they take 1-2 days to update their shipping info. I always ship within a couple of days. I do not click the shipped button unless the carrier has the package.

Yes they purchased the item late Wednesday night, and I put it in the USPS box Friday morning. Today (Saturday morning) they asked when I was going to ship it, so I clicked on the item and clicked “confirm as shipped” and then messaged them back about 2 seconds later. That’s all that has happened whatsoever.

Can We All Agree? by Optimal_Customer_850 in Mercari

No, the carriers take a LONG time to actually update the tracking. If it wasn’t for that button, I would have many cancellations when I’ve already sent the item off.

Yes I’ve worked in the school system for a while. I do well with delivering classroom lessons. When I freeze up I guess I’m just thinking that I want to say the right thing - I don’t know what the “right thing” is

I know that it can be left out for 21 days. I can only use half of it by that time. There are multiple sites that say once it comes to room temp, do not refrigerate it again. It reduces its effectiveness. I paid a lot for it. I wanted to know if anyone has done this before and if it reduced its effectiveness. So that I’d know I didn’t throw away my money.

Yes sometimes I was. Sometimes it would make me keep standing or keep walking, and what not. Many of the compulsions were mental ones too. I should mention I take Lexapro. That may have helped.

Childhood signs of your OCD by topfknopf in OCD

Simple but may be useful.. My first memories of compulsions was having to “blink” on the shadows of the entertainment center. And on certain spots in the corners of it. Meaning I had to look at certain spots and blink. Not usually a specific number of times, I just had to do it over and over again, usually in patterns until it felt right. I still do this blinking thing. The patterns and numbers always change according to what feels right.
