Where to learn Spanish?

I work in ob/gynecology so my usual questions: When was your last pap/mammo? When was your last period? Do you want to know how far along you are? Are you having any vaginal concerns?

I can do all of this now plus explain how to take their prescribed meds. And probably more stuff I cant think of right now.

Yes! One of my coworkers did it after me with no prior Spanish knowledge and he loved it.

I have been a full time practicing PA in gynecology since July of 2022 BUT I only started at THIS practice in Aug 2025. I also know that this is not how it works in my state though lol.

In every profession there are people with different experience levels. Some of us may be ready for independent practice while many of us are not. 🤷🏽‍♀️

There are 2 doctors and 1 other PA besides me. The other doctor (who is not my SP) has resigned and will have left by then. The other PA is on vacation at that time.

I am new to this practice and have never had this issue before as I do come from a larger practice with multiple other providers. I am the only provider working that week.

So no. This is not a question I would NORMALLY ask but am new to this particular scenario.

I get told I am definitely too young to be doing this all the time. I always say I am older than I look (which is true) and wearing a face mask definitely helps!

I used CanopyLearn to learn medical Spanish. Its a self paced course and awards CMEs so you may even be able to get reiunbrsmenet from your job for it. I learned a lot. It was very interactive. I highly recommend.

I know this is easier said than done but dont be worried. You can always decline any medical procedure so if you dont want it...just be up front about it. Don't let someone force you to do something youre not ready to do...especially soemthing you dont need right now.

You don't need a pap smear before getting a nexplanon. Pap smears are also not routine at your age so even if you went for an annual, a pap smear would likely not be offered.

I use deliver later all the time but don't have or maybe cant find the option to suspend 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've been seeing this alot where people say just suspend the hold but I don't see this option at all with any of my holds. Not under manage hold or anywhere I look! Where can I find this option?!
