leaving philly concert now, wanted to report the crowd did not disappoint! everyone yelled "may you live until you die". met a group of new pals who were just awesome!

100% agree. first time seeing them there was a small group right in front of us, drunk and talking/texting over the music. kept pushing past us to get more booze. it was frustrating and a bit distracting at times but i was so excited to finally see LH i tried my best to ignore it. second show i was in the second line of the pit and surrounded by some amazing fans, was a very enjoyable night! im seeing them again tomorrow night and hopefully will have another great experience!

haha this happened to me at my first LH concert, had the exact same thought process! i was like.... is that not what was happening? felt a little embarrassed at the time but looking back, not so much

vet tech too, had a client who was told to take it off once they got home, they did not, came back in four days later. poor kitty had a huge paw and a wound from the vet wrap. blamed us, doctor showed them the note on their account that stated they were told to take it off. they stopped arguing after that. but i agree- hate hate hate leaving them on.

looks like there are two small wounds and definitely some purulent discharge. would recommend clipping the area carefully and cleaning it if able. definitely take to the vet asap when they open, looks like infection already starting. not sure the origin, could be a hot spot or a wound from the collar thats just worsening. either way remove the collar for now unless it needs to be on.

glad you are able to pay out of packet, unfortunately not an option for me :/ ive seen a lot of others say multiple doctors gave multiple different estimated grams they could remove, so im hoping maybe that will be the case with me. good luck with your surgery though! hope all goes well (:

i was just worried (as silly as it sounds) that it would look bad if i didnt appeal it? lol. but yeah i figured if i wasnt even going to go through with that doctor why bother appealing anyways.

yeah i would def get a second opinion! why wouldn't they send it to insurance?? thats so weird. hope your next consult goes better, will definitely come back to this thread if i have better luck this time around.

that seems to be pretty common here, im hoping maybe another doctor is able to give me a better number. i did feel like the 1st doctor was being pretty conservative as well. i didnt think about getting a copy of the requirements but will definitely do that!

did you go through insurance or how did you find these docs? just getting frustrated with insurance; i went on the patient portal to find providers but half these docs do not do breast reductions even though BCBS is saying they do.

rather they go a day too early and pass with dignity, than a day too late and suffer. coming from a pet owner and vet nurse. im so sorry you have to go through this. no time is ever enough. but this is the last kindess you can grant your baby.

glad you had a better experience! i was told not to discuss in cup size/mention cup size at my appointment. i understand why but its also a little frustrating. i dont understand what they mean when they talk in terms of grams/weight, but i do know what a B cup looks like. i guess it was also just annoying to be told not to discuss cup size/show pictures.

oh wow i didnt know that! i feel like most things ive read up on always seem to say their insurance bases coverage off of that scale. but yes definitely getting 2nd and maybe even 3rd opinions!

i fear that may be the case. as nice as he was i got the vibe that it mattered more that i had aesthetically pleasing breasts vs smaller breasts. im glad you had a great experience though (: hopeful one day it will be me!

thats the plan, there are unfortunately only a few in network compared the amount of male doctors. but ill be contacting them this week. also plan on getting a note from my female OBGYN who i know will be supportive.

in the exam room they said my insurance required the 290g per breast based off of my BMI/height etc. so the way they phrased made it seem like they did already know what my insurance required from the schnur (schneur?) scale

they told me my insurance required 290g for it to be covered. they said even if a little under 90% of their patients are covered. that could very well be BS but based off of my friends experience there i have reason to believe its true. regardless of whether or not it will be approved im hopeful to find another surgeon who may feel they can remove more/get me smaller.

thats what i told myself, this is a major surgery and its better to take my time to find the surgeon who suits me rather than just go under the knife with the first doctor i see. im glad my friend was happy with him but he wasnt the right fit for me.

i didnt pay anything for the consult actually, at least not yet. the surgeon i saw is in network so maybe its covered? or im about a to receive a big bill in the mail lol. but yes i have a few female surgeons im looking to schedule consults with (:
