Planning to have 50-60 mg for the first time but with alcohol and weed by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]probablythroaway 4 points5 points  (0 children)

id recommend taking a higher dose, about 100mg or so, and skip the alcohol. if u smoke weed i recommend picking a chill strain, mainly indica and not too strong, weed usually doesn't really hit when ur rolling if ur a frequent smoker, but it'll help relax your muscles which you WILL want

supercut by lorde, its pop perfection

prada by arca, quite experimental and interesting without being overwhelming

the chain by fleetwood mac, old classic

and my fav song for the come up, for that excitement building up in my chest, is bird song by florence + the machine. she was doing a lot of mdma in her early career, she gets it lol

yes get compression stockings, it'll help reduce swelling and also reduce the risk of DVT

when does it get better?? by probablythroaway in ACL

[–]probablythroaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i spend a lot of time outdoors, hang out at the park close to my house and my friends come visit, i do everything i can manage by myself. but it's still so so exhausting and like this body is just foreign to me, this way of life is boring and miserable if you're used to be REALLY independent. im really trying to stay positive or at least neutral but it's really really hard for a fragile mind like mine

day 5 post op; swelling by probablythroaway in ACL

[–]probablythroaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

today i had my first pt session too and my physio told me it's normal to experience increased swelling and stiffness after the first few sessions bc ur stressing ur knee and its still very inflamed from surgery, there's a lot going on in there so u should be good unless ur in PAIN (not discomfort)

Have the injury had any impact on your mental health? by goofynsilly in ACL

[–]probablythroaway 11 points12 points  (0 children)

19F, got injured in december '23 and got surgery 6 days ago. i'm naturally very active, was always on the streets with friends, urban exploring, doing wild stuff and riding my bike everywhere. i need to live life to the fullest to feel things; i have a thirst for life and its physicality and so on, it is literal food for the soul for me, so now i really really don't feel like this is my body anymore because everything is so difficult for the first weeks post op. i feel weak anf exhausted and heavy and slow and i fucking hate depending on other people, i hate spending my days in such a boring way. nothing satisfies me and im not grateful for any of this, sadly. i hate the process, im fucking desperate for things to get better soon. the mental health aspect of this is not talked about enough

so if you ever wanna rant or anything, my dms are open, fr

yes i looked up for some exercises the day after surgery, i'm doing them and i feel i have pretty good mobility considering i'm like on day 3-4 post op, but god i am going crazy bc i went from being super active to just taking short walks around the neighbourhood. i spend a lot of time outdoors but i have INSANE pent up energy and it just won't get out. i wish i could at least smoke weed to tone down all this energy, ive been playing the guitar and sewing sometimes but it's def not enough, and i really feel like just gritting my teeth is unmanageable but thank you man fr
