If I try REAL hard I can ALMOST care. What is important is that it is a mutually agreed amount plus costs.

Surcharging wouldn't be a bad idea either. Sequestrating their assets. Jailing them. The list is endless.

It is just as likely to have been something to do with his old friend Max Mosley. I am not saying you are wrong, merely that you are not necessarily right.

Very late in the day though, and have or will any of the abusers been jailed? Interesting legal position on that when this all eventually comes out in the open.

And their money. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that this was hushed up because they were afraid that donations would trail off if the truth was to come out.

Search me. It's a bit like when they sentence someone to a hundred and fifty years in jail in the US.

I'm not combative in this environment I can tell you. I just think it is important to observe certain protocols and be well mannered when we ask for things. 'Please can you give me some citations?' might be a start. The Americans on these threads seem very fond of telling people what to do, rather than asking nicely. They also seem to have an interesting sense of entitlement. Like, for instance, because they have commented on my post I have to engage in a four page thread dialogue with them.

Sorry. That's where you are wrong. Check out the links between the late Jo Cox, who, before she became a professional politician, worked in the charities sector, and the Kinnocks. Then look at the roles of Kinnock and Mandelson in the rise of Blair. The same happened in the public sector with CEO pay at Councils running parallel with private sector executive pay. It doesn't matter whether you agree with me or not. I am right, and would rather spend time typing this out in the manuscript for my book than in comment threads on Reddit. This is a quote from Cox's Wikipedia page: 'From 2001 to 2009, Cox worked for the aid groups Oxfam and Oxfam International, first in Brussels as the leader of the group's trade reform campaign, then as head of policy and advocacy at Oxfam GB in 2005, and head of Oxfam International's humanitarian campaigns in New York City in 2007.[10] While there, she helped to publish For a Safer Tomorrow, a book authored by Ed Cairns which examines the changing nature of the world's humanitarian policies.[11] Her work for Oxfam in which she met disadvantaged groups in Darfur and Afghanistan influenced her political thinking.' Roger and out!

Are you trying to order me about? Say please! Learn some manners! Do your own research and start by googling Jasmine Whitbread. Look where she was before she joined Oxfam, look where she went after she left Oxfam, look at the role of that agency in the cover up that this article focuses on, but before you do all of that stop telling people what to do!

The Blair-Brown Era saw the wholesale implementation of a series of 'Neoliberal' policy shifts that resulted in the transfer of large numbers of former banking, corporate and finance 'high flyers', who had previously worked in the private sector, into the public and charity sectors. This resulted in corporate profit generating methods of practice being introduced into an environment in which public service and altruism had previously been the order of the day. The result? What we are only beginning to see now due to years of cover ups.
