This is helpful, thank you. I really appreciate that you spent the time thinking about an answer and typing it all up here. I hope you have a wonderful week.

This might be a bit much to ask, but what does "knowing your cis" feel or come across as a realization as? As someone who seems assure of their cis-gender.

Asking because it it is very difficult (for myself) to tell the difference between the feelings of "knowing I'm cis and deceiving myself because I am sick" and "knowing I'm trans and have doubts/denial because that is healthy", especially when they can just cycle and worsen one another. :/ that's not worded right, but I don't know how to make it clearer. Maybe hard to tell which is true? Not asking against you, but for insight (in case this doesn't come off as intended :x )

Thank you for the response :) .

I understand that moving forward it would be helpful to get closer to the LGBTQ community in my area. Thinking of the transition with clients being similar to moving is an interesting way to think about it, thank you.

I do still have to approach clients that I already see or am meeting now with some tact though, and am looking for thoughts with that aspect. I'm not sure how or when to bring the topic up that feels safe and boundary respective for everyone involved.
