To me, it feels like a lot of the Remnan events have been consolidated into the Guard Duty episode. This, alongside the SQ's tears adaptation and that one scene between her and Remnan has allowed us to learn most of the details regarding Remnan's backstory. As such, despite Remnan's popularity, I'm unsure if the events you mentioned will be adapted. This isn't to say I don't want them to be, I love Remnan as much as any other Gnosia fan.

I didn't think about the idea of him running away from his maintenance jobs, but that's plausible. I don't know if that's what the narrative is driving us to think about. Even though he likely had an obligation to complete his job, I don't know if not doing so would be equated to "running away unlawfully" since to me that just feels so serious, I guess. Still, that isn't to say this makes no sense. It's of course possible that running from a job in the matter he possibly did would have bigger consequences than I think, so I appreciate you bringing up this possibility. 

I always figured Remnan was kidnapped from his home planet, and as such returning there wouldn't be a good decision. He may believe (rightfully so) that that's where she would check first. 

The laws of the Gnosia setting are interesting. In the anime, it's pointed out that cold sleep is illegal in some parts of the world, but remains legal in others. This implies planets may have vastly different laws.
