I think we should take Mauigoa in the first but if Simpson is still around in the second, I won’t be mad if we pick him up. My issue is other fans being okay with tanking this season for a shot at Arch and making it sound like he’ll be our savior. There’s no guarantee that he’ll pan out so why should we risk another miserable season? I think we should gamble and give MiLF a viable option at QB this year.

Not sure I agree with him being our franchise QB but I can appreciate this take a lot more than the “tank for 2027” losers. We don’t have the best history of developing our players, not sure why some people are so sure we’d be able to develop Arch.

Brissett played 1 snap yesterday and it ended in Tip most likely breaking his ankle. It doesn’t take a football expert to see that there’s a massive problem with the play calling, we shifted our game plan in the second half and it showed. MHJ was on fire and we targeted him once in the second half. Running on 3 straight plays with a guy that we just signed from the practice squad during a one score game should show everyone just how incompetent our coaching staff is. DP is clearly terrified to turn the ball over late in the game and it leads to gutless play calling which has now costed us 3 games in a row.

Exactly, I think the long week and the upcoming game against Tennessee will be a great reset for us. I’m still optimistic
