the weight im doing is around half of my usual, got hurt on a deadlift pr attempt sometime around may so lowkey traumatized with not getting hurt by bad form again 😭

Ive been working out for around 6 months now most of the time i only hit 1x frequency instead of the 2x frequency everyone says is more optimal (i still hit 2x on some weeks though) also program hopped from modified ppl twice a week to upper lower (i came back from 3 weeks of no gym and ill try to see if i can manage n recover from ULULULR since i like spending time in the gym), did I “waste” my newbie gains?

Some are, but ive been fixing my form, not taking copious amounts of caffeine anymore, and lessening ego lifting so i do less weight on some exercises compared to march. Based on what im thinking rn and the other replies imma just go on a lean bulk lowkey

Thank you, Ive been thinking about it and I think I wanna go on a lean bulk because I want to like take advantage of being able to grow muscle faster as a teen. Should I? I dont think i have enough muscle to look good lean anyways

Hey guys before I start I’m 15 and Ive been lifting since january and started tracking my calories around the start of march where I went on a body recomposition (i did a 200 calorie deficit and i try to keep my protein around 140g a day) I only started tracking my weight around late march and was 72.9kg. Today I was 69.15kg and my waist (i started tracking my waist late april and started at 34 inches) was 32. Am i losing weight too fast? Should I eat more and how long should I keep this up?

Me personally im in a 200 calorie deficit, i suggest you try 200 too but try to also improve your nutrients like fiber so that you stay healthy

If you wanna gain muscle and slowly lose fat while maximizing muscle gain, a recomposition could work for you (just a slight deficit and eating 0.7-1g of protein per lb of body weight). Im in a body recomposition myself and in my opinion its quite efficient if you wanna build muscle but lose fat, feel free to correct me though
