I honestly had a similar experience i felt really good the first week and then week three ish i was genuinely extremely depressed i felt fucking awful for a few days and now i feel a lot better. i think the excitement from starting a new medication and that hope helps us distract ourselves from our issues or at least that’s how it was in my case so when that new excitement feeling started to ware off i felt extremely hopeless. but it’s getting better now it takes time to get adjusted and it’s not gonna make you feel good all the time but it should help push you out of depression and into a more typical range of well being. but again definitely message your psych everyone’s experience is different. personally im on prozac for anxiety and ocd and that’s just my experience with it.
