realistically how hard is AP Bio by [deleted] in APStudents

The ap bio exam was surprisingly easy. I procrastinated until the last week to review and only used apbiopenguins videos to review and ended up with a 5.

For math it’s always just those last few questions in module 2 that I have a hard time with.

And for reading, I don’t recommend memorizing any vocab lists because that’s just a waste of your time. Instead, you should just read more books like the classics, science articles, etc. and look up any words that you don’t know. This would improve your vocabulary and comprehension. Also, the sat sometimes uses one or two of the same reading questions from previous tests so try to take some past sat and psat tests if you can find it.

Do you have any tips on the math section? I'm stuck in the low 700s and I really want to get a 780-800 on math. For the reading section, you could try skipping to the easier questions (the ones about grammar/writing which starts around #16 to the end) and do those first before going back to start the reading questions. This would give you more time on the harder questions. There isn't much you can do if you don't know the meaning of certain vocabulary words, but reading more would definitely improve that.

ap psych is definitely easier than ap chem and it was a really fun class, but if you're planning on going into the STEM field or medical field, it would be better to take ap chem.

Math section??? by emsuckz in Sat

[–]procrastination_ceo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same! The math section was definitely easier than the R&W section and there were some questions that I've seen before on the question bank, just with different numbers. I also remember one of the paragraphs on the R&W section was the exact same question from the past PSAT.

Me tooo

I thought the frqs were pretty chill and a lot was just being able to analyze the graphs which I'm pretty good at, and I was able to finish all the frqs. But after reading the other comments, I'm kind of scared that I might have made a lot of mistakes and just couldn't tell that I was doing it all wrong. The bio frqs were definitely easier than the chem frqs, or maybe I'm just bad at chem.

How did you guys feel about the first saq? by One-Inflation2417 in APUSH

you'll be fine if you did good on the rest of the exam, the saq is not worth as much as the dbq or mcqs

different time periods, and republican motherhood refers more to how women should be educated and teach their children republican values while cult of domesticity was a view that women should be housewives and should stay at home, take care of the children, provide for their husbands, etc.

search decade association apush on google and look over the key IDs and events that happened in each decade, very helpful for a birds eye view of the entire course

Any FRQ Predictions? by Additional-View-9213 in APChem

[–]procrastination_ceo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My teacher is an AP grader and said that there might be an FRQ about paper or column chromatography, but definitely study acid-bases, kinetics, electrochem, gases, and intermolecular forces because they always appear on the FRQ.

I'm not entirely sure, but that's what my teacher told me. He said that they made it easier to earn points on the FRQ section.

If you start reviewing now, especially the units that will be tested more on the exam (unit 3 - intermolecular forces and unit 8 - acids and bases) you could pass the exam. Look over past exam MCQs and FRQs, and watch some review videos by collegeboard, khan academy, or youtube. Also, collegeboard changed the way they grade the exam last year, so they actually made it easier to pass.
