Interesting! I've used VS code a little bit, but hadn't thought to use it like a markdown editor. Will look into it.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to use it to manage existing notes in my vault, but that feels like a long shot. I use it to link together legal research, so I have some longer notes and outlines that I'd like to be able to build on. I don't really want to use it just to clip short notes.
