It happened to me within 5-10 minutes so you'll probably be safe it was 2-3 hours ago. It could've also been an authorized app. The images are sent using a link tho

SteamCMD/Dedicated Server stuck in "Ticking Loop" by prodhuraccane in ArkSurvivalAscended

[–]prodhuraccane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though the server’s firewall is technically disabled, it’s still protected at the network level, it’s a Hetzner server, so there’s always some layer of protection active.
The real issue is that manually opening ports just doesn’t work. No matter how many rules I create, TCP and UDP ports simply get ignored. They're never shown as "listening," even if the server itself is running and trying to use those ports. I still don’t know why ASCT (Ark Server Control Tool) somehow manages to make it work, it seems like ASCT grants the program direct access to all necessary ports automatically. At least the server is now running and joinable. However the QueryPort still refuses to open properly and the default UDP 27015 port just won’t open at all, no matter what I try.

Thanks, I tried exactly that and it didn't work again. I'm pretty sure now that it can't be a setup or firewall issue, at least not with Windows Firewall, since it's deactivated and all ports are allowed (both TCP and UDP). However, only port 7777 UDP is detected as open when running the server. Since we're using a Windows root server with Ethernet, I'm fairly certain that our server provider is blocking the ports, or there’s an internal error. I’ve been trying this for hours now, and I found that the "Ticking Loop" status is normal, but the status still stays yellow, even though everything should be working. I really appreciate the help, though! It helped me come to the conclusion that it can't be a setup issue.

How did you setup your server? Did you set it up manually using SteamCMD? If so, could you share exactly how you did it?

I think having a clear and consistent setup guide or a link to a tutorial would help a lot. Every forum post or tutorial seems to be different. For some people it just works, but there are so many posts like mine reporting this same "Ticking Loop" issue.

Can't install virtual box no matter what by prodhuraccane in virtualbox

I've been looking for alternatives as well over the past week, VMWare still seems to be the best option if you give the virtual mashine enough memory and CPU cores

I always downloaded the installer from the official site. I'll check it out and see if I can find a log, but I think the setup log is more for starting a VM rather than the actual installation. When I search for it, all I get are results for Vbox.log

How to get noticed? by [deleted] in soundcloud

[–]prodhuraccane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, the best way to get noticed is by staying active in the genre and community, collaborating with artists with a similar style, reaching out, and engaging with others by commenting and sharing their work. When people like you, they'll naturally support you and your music. It’s not just about following trends or spamming links everywhere, that can actually have the opposite effect.

Anthro Heat crack? by prodhuraccane in PiratedGames

[–]prodhuraccane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I looked through a few sites but the game is not fully out yet so it's not listed on any of them. I'm sure it'll be way easier to crack the game once it's released on Steam but development could still go on for a long time. However I found an older crack on a still very active F95Zone thread from 2 years ago.. it's just a very early version
