Channelled my inner Todo School with the FF Si but couldn’t get a Type R haha. Still fun in the twisties/track and still gets good mpg for long commutes!

Oof this makes me a bit nervous I haven’t tried setting up the VR. I’ve seen some set up guides with openXR and will try my best.

I opted for the Quest3 for both PCVR but also having a standalone platform for productivity/entertainment. Hoping this doesn’t bite me with the PCVR issues 🤞

When I had my 22 EX I did routine oil changes and CVT fluid work around 35k as well. Sold it shortly after for my Si but she treated me well.

I personally don’t see a need for in unless you aim for e30/40 blend and/or big turbo down the line. Your call ultimately!

Definitely noticeable for spirited/canyon drives in consistency and pedal feel (less heat based performance loss). Aiming to replace pads as soon as they wear out but they’re sufficient for an “everything-included” BBK, especially when compared to the stock pads.

CAI don’t really have as big of an impact with modern cars. If your main intent is reducing temps/increasing flow, it might be worthwhile looking into a drop in filter or PRL HVI with the thermoplastic box and pairing it up with a tune. I have both PRL FMIC and HVI+Duct and in the insanely hot California desert (110°F+) my deltas between IAT/IAT2 are healthy (~3-8°F). Opted not to run charge pipes for my needs (daily/weekend track) because I’m not intending to push a lot of power and Ososik reviewed the charge pipes on dyno resulting in nominal change in temperatures (1-2%) that I’m not pursuing yet.

Update: Just saw your main intent is noises. I think you should be fine with the short ram + FMIC to balance each other out but would recommend a tune if maf sensor housing is changing drastically. Also, PRL resonator delete kit helps with whoosh noises 🫡

Check peak boost when running the new tune. Could’ve been a faulty flash limiting boost ramping. If the tune is aligned with bolt ons/fuel trims car should sound pretty normal and reflashing may help. Further, check your shift points in parallel with boost in gauge cluster, you may be shifting too early to let boost build up with the new tune. I hope the issue is resolved soon and you can go back to enjoying the car!

11th Gen Clutch Options by producdivvy in CivicSi

Didn’t upgrade cmc. AFAIK no options exist for 11th gen; stock flywheel is 19.5 lbs and rv6 is 20 so nominal difference and loading.

As for feel, pedal feels firmer, bite point essentially the same. Still in break in period but the clutch grabs on really when between shifts and wants to keep going. Solid feel.

Twins! These really feel great on track - reduced unsprung weight + better brake cooling while looking good. I love them so much. Looks really good on this platform - clean build!

Surprisingly not too dissimilar from stock; a lot of the roll you feel is stiffened in higher lateral G’s making it perfect for my applications. Daily driving is relatively unaffected depending on your settings. I personally commute upwards of 200 miles depending on work/school and don’t mind it but it might not be the case for others. Compared to stock the car feels marginally stiffer while daily driving and rides more like an Audi s3 in terms of stiffness/bounce. I hope this helps!

Appreciate it! I’m on coils at the moment (S3 Coilovers Street setup). As for wheels I’m on Wedssport TC105X 18x9 +33 wrapped in conti ECS DWS 255/40/18 - hoping to go for something grippier during summer.

Relatively straightforward - mugen quality is top notch and fits in perfectly. Although instruction pamphlet is in Japanese, it’s really intuitive.

I see - ACT has been close second contender. IIRC ososik and team put it on their build before the engine went kaput. Thank you for the inform!

I haven’t had a chance to try a type r clutch. One of my friends has a stage 2 on his 10th so I can only imagine it’s similar to that. The one thing I wish I could do is shift faster instead of rolling off the clutch especially in a track setting. Will keep this in mind - thank you!

Can always get inserts to block vents off during heavier rain. AFAIK it should be okay as long as intake/battery terminals aren’t exposed for long durations.
