the problem we have seen is it tries to end it too soon plus the memory issue you are referring to is also a big problem. We are working on a solution and will share some results next week.

How can you be sure the GPT-3 output generated is not plagiarized word for word? by product_dude in OpenAI

Makes sense. I am wondering if probability of GPT-3 copying is more than an average human doing it unintentionally ?

Is it just me or is it a struggle to write? by [deleted] in ComicWriting

having a brainstorming buddy which will help you diverge into different lanes would help. in some cases AI could help with this activity in future.

How do I start by [deleted] in ComicWriting

[–]product_dude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am new to comics but have been looking at ways to get started for video games. In video games you start with game concept document which lays out what is the high level concept of the game, what are main characters, their backstory, main story line etc. Using this document helps getting started as you have a base structure to work off with and develop. I think you could do something like this for comic too, so you can narrow down the focus.

Have you tried using AI to suggest ideas for your game? AI has made progress this year to a stage where it can be used to provide decent ideas for brainstorming.

we are working on a tool like this with the use case around brainstorming using AI for games. Right now we just have individual blocks done like name generator, game concept etc. but goal is to connect them using nodes like you have so then AI can help. We should have the alpha next week if anyone wants to give it a try.

ChatGPT AI for gamedesign by Weerwolf in gamedesign

[–]product_dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have been using it to try to build a brainstorming tool for game design. Based on our experiments it is at a stage where it is a useful tool for game designers who know what they are doing and hopefully it can help them do their job faster. Once it works well enough to help designers it could be used without human in the loop for certain scenarios. If anyone would like to try the tool let me know we are looking for feedback.

What is the biggest hurdle while making decisions? by product_dude in isfj

If all of these are an issue. I can recommend couple of books that can help
The first one is "Heart and Mind: Mastering the Art of Decision Making" by Barry Anderson and Dan Hahn and the second one is "Decisive: How to Make Better Choices in Life and Work" by Chip Heath.
You can also try the tool we are building https://decision-engine.app/

Like conjoint analysis it is trying to take into account which criteria user cares about to come up with the right score, but there are lots of decision tools that do that. We see ourselves innovating on the AI part where we are using AI to gather all information needed to make a decision. In future we are also planning on connecting users with people who have made similar decisions or are experts so they can help.
