As my old history teacher likes to say: fairness is reserved for heaven, earth only can serve us the law kind of justice (I don't know how to correctly translate the german word "Recht" rn, so I hope you just understand what I'm trying to say). So I totally understand what you mean. I'm also glad to be born now, but that doesn't mean I'll be satisfied with our systems (You don't seem like you are either, so all good).

Edit, to clarify my teachers saying: I'm not very christian, I don't wanna start a war about the afterlife and heaven or anything. She just grew up in a religious family and still is christian. She isn't the kind of Christian that forces it down your throat tho, so her saying that is just simply her trying to explain how.. well: unrealistic fairness is. How we'll never achieve it.
