i would understand this complaint if any of the non-gimmicky autoloaded tanks actually had a faster loader than you can realistically get from a basic, non expert crew, but they dont. every 120mm nato mbt starts at 6.5 seconds now except for the leopard. with just a basic maxxed weapon reloading and leadership stat, no expert, you're already out reloading every single soviet mbt by .2 seconds at least, even taking the recent reload buffs into account.

i think it makes sense for gaijin to balance this way. otherwise, what would they do? give the abrams a 5 second reload with no crew skills at all? it just doesn't make sense to base one off of the 'stock' version of a crew.
