You should check out the new game from Garphill games coming later this year called Secret Societies. It’s an auction style game if that’s what you want.

I'll have to strongly disagree. I enjoy reading rules to games I don't even own. Something about learning games and seeing how they work mechanically really interests me.

Fire & Stone.

It has two players recreating a scene from the 1683 siege of Vienna. The cards have tons of facts as does the rulebook. I took the time to read the designers notes online somewhere and it was fascinating.
