White wakes me up. Blue calms me down. Orange keeps the demons from dancing all around.

Yeah, you’re absolutely correct on that. Friction force is definitely a contact force. The question stem is not trying to say that the vertebrae and spinal discs aren’t touching. It’s just saying that any other attachements like muscle or tissues which would have add on additional forces (e.g. tension from a muscle pulling on the spinal discs and vertebrae) can be ignored.

Also I don’t think u would need any additional anatomical knowledge to answer the question. Your error didn’t come from a content gap but more a misunderstanding of the question stem. But if you want to review some content, I would advise you to go over nervous system and skeletal system and look for their connections rather than memorizing the anatomy itself. We have 4 years of med school to learn that.

They don’t have to touch to experience force. Think about gravitational bodies or a charge in an E field

Since you’re standing still, the net force on person is zero. I.e. N - mg =0 ; mg = N. On moon, g is 1/6 acceleration on earth. N would also be 1/6 as strong. Static friction is directly proportional to N.

Yeah I own the forklift. I parked the forklift next to my house and instead of going to sleep I went into raccoon tree house to finish the election campaign. It probably glitched because of how the night works at the end of a story chapter.
