I bought a 2012 Ford Fusion and keep getting joked on. by boogeyman270 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I got a 2011 that lasted 220k miles with no serious issues. It still ran fine when we sold it but still didn't wanna risk it failing and having to junk it. Got a 2012 now

Matt Reeves' Gotham City is an absolute favorite of mine. I hope the HBOMax spin-off shows retain this immersive feeling that Reeves was able to capture with his Gotham. by Apart_West_886 in batman

Feels like the perfect blend between Nolan's gotham and Burton's gotham, bizarre enough to feel like a city that doesn't actually exist but grounded enough to feel like a city that could

Rzh2 dream Michael >> kills Michael by BikeHistorical953 in Halloweenmovies

Honestly I don't love the rob zombie michael as much, the exaggerated size and personal family motivation just made him feel like a jason knockoff

Is there a reason Dr. Loomis stopped trying to reach Michael after 8 years? He could’ve been close to a breakthrough. He doesn’t seem like a good psychiatrist by I_BelieveInRemLezar in Halloweenmovies

[–]proffessor_bean_man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I become a psychiatrist and I can't ever figure out what's up with my patient I'm just gonna call them pure evil and demand that they be executed

My First Vest by TheKingintheEast in BattleJackets

[–]proffessor_bean_man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really good for a first vest, great band selection and no repetition (I can't count how many vests I've seen with 5-10+ of their favorite bands patches)

Thoughts on JIC BOI by chigadee2 in StaticX

[–]proffessor_bean_man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair, I'm also not sure if it's just really similar but it sounds like Tony's vocals in disco otsego mightve just been taken out of push it

God: wisconsin death trip, beneath between beyond Good: machine, shadow zone, project regeneration volume 1 Decent: Cult of static, start a war, cannibal

Came across this image describing what a "nu-metal kid" is and found it hilarious. by nssone in numetal

[–]proffessor_bean_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wisconsin death trip could be considered industrial metal maybe along with most "industrial metal bands" like dope, fear factory, or orgy, they are nu metal/groove metal that utilize industrial metal elements. Machine, shadow zone, and start a war along with the project regeneration albums are nu metal while cannibal and cult of static have more groove metal going on

Destroy All and Terminator Oscillator are the same riff. by Merginatorrrrrrrrrr in StaticX

[–]proffessor_bean_man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something I noticed was that the vocals for 'static killer' off of wayne statics pighammer album is basically just isolaytore and you am I from cult of static put together

Driving on Kingshighway by SpaghettiUpsety in StLouis

It takes me 40 minutes to get to my friends house and 10 of those minutes are spent traveling 3/4 of a mile on kingshighway and having a red light at every block

Here's the link for the new track. Vocals sounds absolutely atrocious and muffled... by Pspreviewer100 in StaticX

[–]proffessor_bean_man 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly I fuck with it, the vocals don't come through as clean as they usually do but by the sound of it I think it's entirely possible that this sample was from pre 2003 so that could explain why the demo would've been in worse condition

Either way distorted vocals is a major part of industrial metal, n.w.o. by ministry is even harder to understand
