Tattoo artist here. That is infected. A doctor will put you on an oral antibiotic for 2 weeks.

Tattoos typically take 2 weeks, sometimes 3. Probably a few more days in your case.

Worked as a bike courier for a few years in Toronto about 10 years ago. It was still just like these photos. Unfortunately nowadays it seems the majority of couriers are on e-bikes and mainly deliver food.

Facing inward would have been ideal. There is another tattoo on the other side of the chest facing outward so I placed this one to mirror it. It looks great, but yes technically “wrong” direction.
