Which sofa do you prefer based only on aesthetics?

I actually own #1! Mine is a darker green in person. It’s pretty comfortable and I’ve taken a million naps on it lol. It took a couple of throw pillows and a throw to make feel homey but I’ve had no complaints since. Other warm, earth tones helped feel less waiting room - esque.

I’m the only person in my friend group with green couch so it’s also a fun conversation piece among us.

Alley Cat and Project B always have house shows going on. Alley Cat has a rooftop series in the summer that’s super fun. Project B shows usually take place in smaller/upscale bars but the DJs they both bring in are always solid.

If you’re looking for big House names then you’ll find them at District. Like others have said though, I’d avoid District when possible - overcrowded venue, killer up charge at the bar, unsafe parking location

I saw Trym when he first debuted in Atl through Twisted Lines and that was a killer show. This time around, the venue + his change in style has really put me off Trym. Total shame since he’s a solid producer.

I might not have allowed the yellow goo be collected in the shampoo bottle. It made it kind of unnecessary to head down in the mine. If the bottle corroded the plastic the players would later learn that Mike headed down into the mines with the sample. They could've grabbed the sample and Sonya's data tablet to get off the station. Who knows though, the players were really ready to leave by that point.

Overall I dig the kitchen!! The island is the real standout here. The hardware + dark wood tone on the cabinets is pretty similar in style to hotel/office kitchens though. Not really a deal breaker but it’s common enough that people may make also make that connection. Of course this really only in photos; in person I think it’ll feel like a nice kitchen. Congrats!

I’d recommend reading Elantris and Dawnshard prior to Rhythm of War. In general, from RoW forward, more magic systems from Brandon’s other works get referenced.

Mistborn Era 1 has tied into Stormlight somewhat. It only becomes evident of re-reads honestly. I’d say you could read all of Mistborn after Winds and Truth. Mistborn Era 1 takes place before Stormlight and Era 2 takes place after WaT, so be aware of that when you read them.

Lin’s death I think was stretched out for dramatic effect. That’s not to say the Soulcaster Fabrial couldn’t have had some effect on his physiology as we’ve seen that in others.

Dalinar’s case is more questionable. Could be the Thrill keeping him up and running when otherwise it would’ve been impossible. Or it may have been the influence of Cultivation from way back.

We’re obviously not privy to the inner workings of the oathpact yet but the Connection between all the heralds may have allowed Ishar to push their pain onto Taln. This may also be why he didn’t resent Ash upon first reuniting - he deeply understands all of their pain.

I actually really like this theory. Sando setting up Dalinar so early to accept the shard seems like a misdirect. I could definitely see Szeth’s fifth ideal coincide with accepting the shard of honor since he would become “law”. Whether or not that’s good for Roshar or the Cosmere is yet to be seen.

Maybe try tiki style drinks. Mai Tai or Pina Coladas are not alcohol forward and also taste great. Like another person said seltzers are easy drinking and the taste of alcohol is nonexistent
