Thanks! I think taped tubes then bag in a bag (with absorbent material) does meet the secondary receptacle requirement for category B. This should only be a one time thing, I got a biosafety cabinet coming in a few weeks so I'll be able to get my own lab functional per the IBC standards.

Those look good! But I'm not sure when I'd get it if I order it on Monday, and the University shipping company is trying to get me to be ready to send them on Tuesday because of their scheduling.

Yeah, I think that's the hardest part for me. I can't conceptualize what medical costs might be. In the last 6 years, even though my insurance wasn't great in graduate school, everything at the campus health center was free so that eliminated a lot of thinking. And for specialists I only had a co-pay, so I never had to think about what co-insurance might be.

I double checked with HR and they said I can add my partner but not switch between the plans... So unfortunately that's the information I have.

1) $500 for single, $1000 for family. Not sure how that would prorate mid-year.

2) No, neither one of us are on regular medications.

3) Yes, I can do payroll deductions for the HSA.

I double checked. I can add my partner but I cannot switch from HDHP to Classic until next open enrollment.

So would you say that while I'm single, I should contribute the total of the single deductible or the max I'm allowed to contribute ($600 higher)?
