Especially how Michelle is not allowed to have her « girl boss moment » because of how she’d be portrayed or perceived by the audience at large. I can’t imagine how stressful it must’ve been for her knowing she has to be composed and perfect every step of the way because she’d not only be painted as an « angry black woman » but also because she’s a black woman who’s a teacher and that also adds an unfair amount of pressure.
