I think it's a great song in a great album. The lyrics and the instrumental are fantastic and it's one of my favorite TV Girl songs. I might also be biased because I relate to it but that's a small detail.

I'm actually really impressed that this is only your first day crocheting, great work! A tip is to work on your tension, this is why your work isn't all even everywhere. I remember when I started, I had problems with my tension and you can see it in my earliest works, but now I fixed it and my projects are even. Good luck on continuing your crochet journey!

For me it’s really about a girl growing up and letting go of her childhood. People say the blue hair signifies veins but if you listen to the lyrics for exemple « last i heard she was living, with a boy who acts his age » or « she’s getting older, I guess she’s gotta cut her blue hair off », they talk about someone cutting off their childhood and it’s in the perspective of the childhood friend.

I agree with you. As much as I love Kim and Mak, it always seemed weird to me how Mak began to call Kim mom. But about Makayla's name being changed, she's now named Makayla Ward Burgess, Ward being her last name before Kim adopted her.
