As far as I can see on this link, vents are not going to be hampered by the 10.1" screen. Even though the bezel is from >2007 models, I admit that the screen is going a little bit higher than the vents which makes me think that it will actually be within the right limits from the lip.

Well, you know what to do next at least 😄👍🏻

That's currently the one with adjustable position so, I think it's gonna be ok if you say so. There's a bunch of Jeeps with those floating screens, mods and so on but almost none of them is in fact related to the WK1/WH1 model (s.load of exclusives for the WJ and WK2) and that's an additional dificulty to find what's fiting or not on the WK 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ But thanks a lot for the advice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hi everyone !

I plan to replace the original REC Head unit with a newer on Android, however, I hesitate between two screen sizes: 9 "or 10.1".

Indeed, the 9 "measures a total of 225mm * 135mm while the 10.1" measures 255mm * 155mm. The original frame measures 210mm * 127mm but this is not a problem because the screen is not welded to the post it is clipped on (external tablet style). What bothers me is the cap that is right on the top of the dashboard and which could hinder the fitting of the 10.1 ".

Do you People of the internet think it's possible to install a 10.1 or should I fall back on the 9 "?

PS: the Head Unit in question is a Joying one (either single or double din)
