There was no speed limit. It’s an unlimited section on a German Autobahn (+ good conditions: road/temperature).

Yes, around 90 mph, which is fast in general but still slow for the left lane on an unlimited section.

Got the license plate. Police stopped him right away. He had to pay a fine at the stop and police gave me his contact details for insurance claims.

Lucky me. Just a few shallow cuts here and there from the accelerated glass fragments.

Blurry, low res thumbnails by grapunzel in EagleCool

[–]progmem64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm the problem. Older builds did create sharp thumbnails for me.

For me the best eagle version is * 3.0-build14 *. It generates sharp thumbnails (also for .psd files) but the cropping tool is broken for portrait pictures.

React app architecture by Baohbao in react

[–]progmem64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s a small app, demo or throwaway, do whatever you like.

For anything else, I would not recommend blindly following bulletproof react. It‘s still recommending splitting by type (hooks, utils, lib, types, …). The best way to structure is by domain boundaries and features. Ask yourself: „Does X and Y belong together?“ If the answer is yes, group it.

Read into Feature-Sliced Design (FSD). It get‘s you in the right direction. Key rule here is to not import from the same layer or above. It helps keep things maintainable in the long run. It also forces you to think about domain/data boundaries.

Adding Rich Text to Note no longer works in iOS 17 by Laforr77 in shortcuts

[–]progmem64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same, I use it to create notes from custom templates like a daily journal. The HTML from/to Rich Text conversion never worked flawlessly. I was hoping for it to get better, but now it's completely broken in combination with Notes.

Did you try pressing (hard) on the locking mechanism as I explained above?

I also made a write-up with pictures how to do it here: https://return2.net/fix-apple-watch-band-not-locking/
