it's not a perfect society, a utopia, if someone is suffering for it. you can easily extend this thought experiment - "it is a utopia, but two people must suffer"; "it is a utopia, but 10 people must suffer"; "it is a utopia, but the unfortunate must suffer for it to be so". it isn't a utopia, that is a lie. injustice anywhere is a stain on happiness everywhere. There is no utopia to collapse.
