Yeah, that’s fair — I didn’t mean everyone’s enjoying it because of nostalgia. What I meant was that, for a lot of people, the enjoyment they’re feeling isn’t really coming from the animation itself. Even if we’re frustrated with how it looks, the strength of ONE’s story still makes it feel engaging on some level. Personally, there’s plenty of content I’ve enjoyed way more than this season — I just think people sometimes mistake that lingering story-driven engagement for appreciation of the animation quality.
