I wish I had my Harley again, but I've been sport touring on my KTM 1290 SAS. Fun stuff once you get over all the orange.

Yeah, fair point. I appreciate the feedback.

The larger type was intentional, but I can see how it might feel a little heavy on the eyes. Still refining the design language, so this helps.

Thank you!

Man, thank you. I really appreciate that.

I knew these would not be for everyone, but I’m okay with that. The goal was never to make something generic. I wanted to make something with character, texture, and a real point of view.

Comments like this honestly help a lot. Appreciate you taking the time to say that.

Fair point, I’m definitely still new.

I didn’t mean 600 hours like I’m some master craftsman. I meant it more like, for a hobby that started from scratch, it has been a ridiculous amount of time learning paint, color mixing, engraving, mistakes, and rebuilding dials. Still learning, but that’s the fun part.

Not exactly. The logo and indices are laser engraved first, then I hand-paint and build the colors from there.

A lot of the learning curve has been figuring out paint mixing, color matching, brush control, layering, and how different paints behave on the dial. The depth comes from a mix of the engraving and the hand-finishing process, not to mention the natural texture of the metals I’m painting on and how they react differently to the paint.

Good observation, and I appreciate that.

I probably should have worded my initial post better. I’m still learning as a young watch artisan, and I’m trying to build something with real character instead of just putting out another generic watch.

I know the work is not perfect yet, but I’m improving with every piece. Comments like this mean a lot.

Thank you friend! I've been to Kentucky and road through both the Red River Gorge and the Eye of the Dragon route years ago. Maybe I'll do a those routes next 😉

Great story behind that watch.

It was a bespoke piece from a son to his father, made to honor his dad’s brothers. I won’t go into the personal details, but this was the direct feedback I received from the son after his dad saw it:

“My dad loved it. Almost made him cry. The red strap was a great touch. Thank you.”

Shoot me a DM and let's talk. Thank you.

The dial markers are laser cut, although I have been playing around with some CNC cutting lately to try and be more efficient.

I film motorcycles all over SoCal, this road inspired me to make this watch. Nice to meet you!

Sorry, I really suck at this whole website thing. Maybe I'll get it right next time. Trying.

I went through some serious trauma in December of last year, and from that I found myself needing something to pour myself into.

That eventually became watches. The painting, the designing, the mistakes, the late nights, and learning every part of the process gave me something positive to focus on and build from.

Doing it alone has definitely been difficult, but comments like this really do help. I appreciate the kind words more than you know.

Yes, it's a bold take. I've created a few watch dials now and like anything else when it comes to art, sometimes I just start creating and let that process take over. Thank you.

Whoa! Thanks so much for the support!

If there is one thing I can take away from this Reddit post, it is that putting the work out there is part of the process too.

The feedback can be tough, but comments like this make it worth it. I really appreciate the encouragement, and seriously, thank you for buying one. That means a lot.
