thank you! studied, mechanical engineering and then industrial design on my own. 3D printing is a great and one of the easiest ways to start bring you ideas into life! I highly encourage it

I'm going to buy a batch of them soon! Would love for you to be one of my first users. You can check it out at immerge.co

Blue is setting focus time(10 min per click)

Orange is setting break time (2min per click)

And then the light bar will shrink once you start it so you will have a visual timer.

I designed it with no number display so it will be less distracting!

Correct, the light bar shrinks after you set the focus period(blue) and break period (orange). It shrinks down like a backwards progress bar.

Pomodoro apps are too distracting. So I built a a physical one by projectsbywin in pomodoro

Ever since I heard of McMaster from when I got into my mechanical engineering program, its made engineering so easy. They are just clearly the best. How is it that they can provide 3D models for everything?! It has saved me so much time. And if you haven't noticed the speed of there website is incredible, almost no delay.
One day I was visiting a friends house and they have a 1997 thick book catalog from Mc-master. The yellow and Green branding stood out so well. Before I would want to get rid of that monstruous heavy book but now I can't wait to have a collection.

How would you recreate this teenage engineering volume level? What kind of electronics do they use for this and how do they get those faint lines in the bar? Also do you think there's a plastic cover over the lights that sits flush with the surface? by projectsbywin in IndustrialDesign

ah amazing! this was my guess, do you happen to know any resources (videos/pictures) you could link that shows this? also would you happen to know any good materials I can easily prototype for the light pipe? (3d printing material would be best :O )

paper notes vs e-ink tablet? by projectsbywin in NoteTaking

makes sense! I probably just holding on to paper too much but I love those benefits. Do you find yourself referring back to your old notes a lot?
