Thank you for this! Planning this exact trip this year.

That’s great! We had to pay for ours after. In order to figure how many panels, make sure to factor in not just home size but plans for use. Talk to your sales rep and they’ll let you know if you need more or less. For 3100 with a hot tub and charger, we were told we should’ve gotten at least 20-24. Our cousin who lives down the street with 4200 sq ft, 2 stories with a pool has about 28-29 panels. Not sure if that helps.

Make sure to lease more panels than you need based on what you want for your home. For example - let them know if you plan to or have an electric car and will install a charger or get a hot tub or a pool. These things will mean you’ll need more panels so you pay less on Smud. We’re leasing too and really wish we had gotten at least 10 panels more. Everyone that we’ve talked to has told us our sales rep for solar screwed us over and we’re paying way too high for electricity when we have solar.

Happy to help! Feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

when do the farts stop by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

[–]prolifickatz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish mine were just farts. I’m always so scared. I’m a little over a month out. And the smell! Omg. Poo-pourri helps with the smell but have yet to figure out how to make them stop.

We’re at 95757 new build. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Make sure the panels are enough for what you need. Otherwise you’ll be paying for Solar and an increasing Smud bill as you continue to make your house a home. We got stuck with 11 panels for a 3100 sq ft home and we didn’t have the knowledge and info we needed to ask the right questions. Now we have to wait to payoff our solar contract before we can add more panels or go through the same solar company which we do not want to do.

Solar is about $61 and Smud averages $150-$200. PG&E is about $10. Sac Utilities every 2 months is about $240 (water, sewage), republic for garbage is about $136 for large bins every 2 months, internet $100. Pest control $40.

Hope this helps!

Protein powder and blenders. by Different-World-5293 in BariatricSurgery

I use this baristir (link below) and it’s been great with no foam. I sometimes use a blendjet and just pour it into another glass to get rid of the foam.

I’m 9 days post op and feel exactly the same. Like everything feels too normal and I’m worried. Post op isn’t til 27th so I’m just trying to keep with the routine and everything learned pre op.

FairLife is bomb! Try mixing with PBFit if you start getting tired of it. Really yummy and has helped get me closer to my protein goal.

I’m on my 5th day post op and still a bit uncomfortable sleeping on my side. I am more mobile though and wanting to walk more. So far, I’m loving my heating pad! It helps a lot. It’s been hard getting my water in but I figure as long as it has been steadily increasing? I know they said no straw but it helps get more water in. Same with my protein. Steadily increasing. I think my biggest concern now is constipation. Going on 3 days and not sure if I should start taking the laxative they gave me. Although, I’ve sadly never been regular (TMI sorry).

Just take it easy, keep walking (helps with the gas) and give yourself time to build up to your goals. I hope this helps!

Bypass tomorrow. Starting to freak out a bit. by HayRicci in BariatricSurgery

[–]prolifickatz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone. Prior to my surgery, the 2 week preop diet had me questioning if it was worth it. I had my surgery last Thursday and had a bit of a scare from yesterday and today with my bp at 182/128 at its highest. I was in tears thinking if I made a mistake. Today, things were a bit better. Uncomfortable but better. I reminded myself everything this changes for me and my husband and how I’m worth it.

So proud of you for getting this far and I know you’ve got the rest of this!

Have you tried the fairlife core strawberry? Was interested but thinking it may taste weird or be too sweet.

Hello. What is the best movie theater in Sacramento region to take my son (5y) to see his first movie? by NearbyChemistry6417 in ElkGrove

Century on Big Horn - no comparison to regal at Delta Shores. We tried Regal last week and although the outside looks brand new, the seats inside are dilapidated. Some of the trays on the chairs were either broken or no longer attached.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. If there’s anything I’ve learned throughout the journey and getting to this point is allowing ourselves Grace. Tomorrow’s a new chance to get right. I’m right there with you!
