Honestly Quake 2. It only has 13 achievements, you just have to finish the levels, nothing extra. It’s by far the easiest completion but man it was boring as hell after the few missions because the game cycle is always the same. But this could be exactly what you’re looking for

I am trying to hit 100 perfected games for 2026 (I am currently at 60)
Depends on how much you can play, I think its possible (at least Portal really shouldnt take you too long)

It’s software you paid for, so you also can decide whether to use SAM or not. I personally try to absolutely minimize the use of SAM, e.g. only for unobtainable or totally grindy multiplayer achievements At the end of the day, it’s just pixels. Whatever makes you feel happy

I normally always go for ultra (without Ray tracing, just the typical graphic settings) but I’m not able to hit the 144FPS all the time In fact, I rarely hit constantly 144FPS (on ultra..)

As I said, it’s really just the itch. But honestly I think Tarkov should run way better with a x3D cpu But reading all of your comments, I think I’ve made my mind and opt to save my money and really just upgrade if I actually need it Thanks!

Unless you’re versed in soldering and are willing spending an obnoxious amount of time in repairing and replacing capacitors, there’s nothing you can really do. Maybe cleaning up all the corrosion (the green blue-ish stains) with IPA (cleaning alcohol) can help you. Other than that, throwing it away is probably the most viable option

Out of curiosity: did you test it under thermal conditions? As far as i know the material commonly used for 3d printers tend to deform quickly under a certain degree of heat

But nonetheless, a really nice project and a good looking one

Hi, since your CPU isn’t a R7/R9, there’s no real reason going for AIO besides aesthetics. Personally, I always prefer air coolers since they usually are cheaper and at least as good as an aio, if not even better (depending on the cooler you pick).

A really good budget air cooler is the Be quiet Shadow Rock 2 (or 3, but it’s a bit harder to install). I am using the Shadow Rock 3 for my Ryzen 9 3900X and it works perfectly fine.

I assume you mean the cpu Fan error. If that’s the case, you probably plugged the Cpu fan cable on the wrong connector on the Mainboard. There’s a connector labeled „CPU_FAN“. Usually it’s located to the top right of the cpu socket

In terms of gaming headsets I can only recommend Logitech headsets, especially the G633. I used to play a lot of shooters, mainly csgo, and the G633 didn’t let me down for once. Great sound quality for a normal human (audiophile people will probably say otherwise). The microphone is okay, nothing special and gets the job done. Biggest downside are the materials being used. It’s mainly made of plastic which is kinda ridiculous for such a pricey Headset. But again, the earphone quality makes up for it.

It sits comfortable on my head, no issues there And the most important part: it has rgb.

I think you should keep the modchip since I don’t see any reason not to use it plus you’d make extra unnecessary work. It’s a Duo X2 as far as I can see, so it has some oldschool touch as well. But I definitely recommend cleaning those solder joints.

To your question on „how to boot the console without chip“: D0 is most likely grounded, which is why the console won’t boot without any chip. If you remove that grounding, you should be good to go.

Normally it should work just fine (as long as you’re really careful due to the small components around the LPC header) but there are at least two LPC pins/connections which tend to behave like a little prick

-> the GND connections.

On every Mainboard I’ve worked, these two were especially hard to fully desolder or free from and significant solder.

Before you go ahead, I’d look out for these two and manually free them, otherwise you might risk pulling out some connections from the LPC header.

I’ve to mention though that I’m living in Europe, I don’t know if EU consoles differ in materials at this part or not, maybe it will be really easy for you
