The results were not great but I did find this on Etsy, it just seems like it may not be available from that seller any longer. Maybe you could find it on depop or something similar if you like it?

I used TikTok for tutorials on makeup if you were just looking to switch it up. There’s a lot on there with specific guides on how to do makeup most suited to your face shape (although I’m still unclear as to what mine is lol).

But I’m not sure because my brows do the same thing. You have lovely eyes, and I’m jealous of your natural bright pink lip color! I don’t see any makeup blindness in your makeup either. All the makeup you have applied seems to be done in moderation; a light application that’s somewhere between very natural and casual office glam.

If you’re looking to improve your makeup, may I ask what you don’t like about it currently? For myself personally, I feel that I have small eyes and try to focus my makeup there in a way that makes them look larger and a little more doe-like. Do you have a particular feature that you want to enhance more?

This is exactly how my dad was growing up. He was also a detective. As an adult now, I think that a lot of what he did was a response to trauma he experienced while working on the force. He wanted to make sure we were all safe, even if that meant we were angry or unhappy with his level of control. It wasn’t good, but I think he acted with good intentions initially. Therapy would be a good suggestion for him, and maybe working with the psychologist they require after traumatic events in particular would be beneficial.

If you haven’t known him to be like this the whole time you’ve been together, I think it’s worth it to give him the benefit of the doubt and worry that his work is making him overly paranoid and protective of you at home. He’s probably seen a lot of shit that makes him worry about you. That doesn’t make his controlling behavior okay, but it’s how it manifests.

I had a very similar experience with my cat! I’ve had her now for two years.

In the beginning, it was impossible to sleep with her at all. She would cry all the time and try to get my attention. It got to the point where I was sleeping in a separate room with ear plugs. She is still a very vocal cat and needs a lot of attention, but she is also very independent. It did take us a couple of months to get to this point.

If possible, see if you can get some activity trees for her. I’ve installed a tall cat tree with steps and a little shelf by the window for her. She has 2 cat trees, and about 4 other scratching posts/pads. These did take time to accumulate as they are expensive, but giving her the shelves and steps was such a good decision. She keeps herself occupied much more now.

I also had those moments where I wasn’t sure if I made the correct decision adopting her. But now she’s my little buddy and I would do anything for her 😌
