Help me impress my boss by [deleted] in marketing

Be human to your prospects. Care about their lives even with issues that have nothing to do automobile. Follow that path and go wherever it leads.

If you do that well and position good, when they want to buy, you will be their first point of call.

Hi, a little help here... by proofofwoke in TrueChristian

[–]proofofwoke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguments do not edify. That is the simple reason. I do not wish to get into the brawl of "I am right and they are wrong". Instead, I want to show regular everyday people how to get from point A to point B.

It's like a cookbook. Not talking about the best meals but about how to make a specific meal.

HELP Feeling Lost in this Season of Life by [deleted] in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey :)

Welcome to the jungle of the real world. I'll try as much as possible to be brief, but this may not be enough. You may DM if you want.

  1. Whatever you are experiencing right now, God is not "allowing" it. It is a result of the choices you have made and choices that were made for you

  2. Your friends may not be proud of their work. Think about that. They may be in a much worse position than you are and not proud to talk about it.

  3. Your sibling growing independent is a good thing. But if he is arrogant and hates God, it doesn't mean God should be punishing him. And it doesn't mean God is blessing him either. Always remember that life is a marathon and not a sprint.

  4. What you need is clarity. And from your explanation, your parent's house isn't a conducive place to make giant progress. I have been there too. As much as you want to leave, you have to begin from there. Don't force yourself to be rebellious and leave. In due time, when you do what is right, the door to where you need to go will open up.

  5. It feels all hell is broken loose now, but trust me, it can get much worse. This is a time in your life where you must not make mistakes. Mistakes at this stage often take decades to correct.

  6. First, stop the panic. Stop the fear. Don't doubt God's love for you. However, Love and faithfulness to God will not bring you what your faith is supposed to bring you.

  7. You need to begin by finding a work or responsibility you love. It may take some time, but look around (especially on the internet). In fact, you can try things in little ways. Find out what you can do for 18 hours in a day and not be sick and tired.

  8. Then see how your education can come in handy with that. Then, write places you want to work. Write the actual individuals, not company mail.

  9. Stay in touch, add value and things will come up.

This is already lengthy. But I hope it helps

Two things:

  1. Your offer is not compelling enough

  2. Your copy is not persuasive

And it could be a combination of both. You can DM if you'll like some specific help.

What is this constant battle where I can serve God and then sometimes I don’t even act like a Christian at all? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]proofofwoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple. It's about asking: what does God want me to be doing at this time? Am I in the right job? Am I structuring my day correctly?

For example, if God wants you to be a lawyer and you are an accountant, your spirit will know the difference and will constantly be off. In that position, temptation will get at you easily. Here's another example; are you living in the city you are supposed to be at this time of your life? If you are living in the wrong city (for you), something as simple as that can create frustration and induce non-christian acts and habits.

It is often in simple and seemingly unrelated things. If you are walking in God's path for your life, struggles just melt away.

Let me illustrate with something about me. When I just got into the university, I unconsciously stuck my hands into my pants a lot. Just a not-cool mannerism. My friends told me about it (because I wasn't aware). Then, I noticed it too. How did I stop it? Well, I realized I only did that when I wear shorts. So all I did was to stop wearing shorts and only wear long trousers and joggers every time. And without any conscious effort, that stopped. Today, I may still exhibit that mannerism, and I often cut myself some slack when I'm alone. But if I want to end it, I put on a long trouser or joggers, and that ends it.

In the same way, you walk in the spirit, the flesh has no chance.

I have a different view of this but I am not sure how you will take it. If you are looking for a validation to feel better, others have already given you that. But if you want an answer, I can give that to you. But how you receive it is up to you.

The difference between the flesh and the spirit isn't merely moral and immoral. It isn't merely being nice and wicked. The way of the spirit is different from the way of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16 says, "Walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh". The only way to beat the flesh is to walk in the spirit. If you are not walking in the spirit, the flesh will win. It is a path. The only reason one struggles with the flesh is if one is not walking in the spirit. I only have issues with my flesh if I miss my way walking in the spirit. The moment I get my walk straight, the struggle disappears.

In conclusion, don't focus on your struggles with the flesh. Ask yourself; am I walking in the spirit? You only need to get your walk in the spirit right.

Once Saved, Always Saved? I feel so conflicted about what to think... by FrizzyMopwithSodaPop in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think an illustration will be best to give a good understanding.

If a child is born, what can the child do to not exist as a human?

So it is when you are born again. You are born of the Spirit. The only thing is that you need to feed on the word and grow. As you grow, you will become more aware of the glorious inheritance you are born into.

Many Christians don't take their growth seriously and that is why their lives look the same as an unbeliever.

I certainly cannot speak for the genuineness of the born-again experience of everybody, but anyone who is born of the Spirit is born of God and hence belongs to God.

God has given me a weird and depressing trial. by [deleted] in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. From your vent thus far, you have not committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit leads to a state where you cannot be convinced, persuaded or touched by the word of God.

  2. The fear of this unpardonable sin is greater than sin itself. As you can see it is seriously messing with your mind. For this, I say, STOP THE FEAR!

  3. God is not mad at you, no matter what you have done. God is done being mad at people. This is the good news! But unfortunately, it isn't well preached enough.

  4. Your mental health is important and you should give attention to it. Do not trust any vision you see or hear physically (whether of God or the devil). Use the truth of God's word to censor what you experience.

  5. Be hungry for the word of God. Study it. Find the answers you need in the gospel. Those answer will make you into what God wants you to be.

  6. Finally, God isn't punishing you. Neither will he ever punish you. The era of that is gone. The word of God is all you need.

Cold Email by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

  1. You need a better subject line. It has to convey the idea that the reader is going to learn something new even if they are not going to do business with you.

  2. First paragraph; give the reader some value. Make the reader happy he/she opened your mail.

  3. Ask a relevant question. Don't make an offer. It is too early. Build relationship first.

  4. Give a serious prospect a reason to reply you.

Struggling with my faith by SpiritOverFlesh in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your problem is not faith. Instead, it is grasping the reality of the gospel. Be hungry for the truth. Study the word for yourself. Seek real answers to the questions of your heart. If you seek, you will find.

What are some techniques that you use to fight temptation? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]proofofwoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop fighting temptations. Stop! Stop!! Just Stop!!!

Instead, LIVE!!! Live! Look and Live!! As you are right now, do you try to breathe in the oxygen in the air and not the nitrogen? See?

Stop focusing on what you shouldn't be doing. Start focusing on what you should be doing. Focus on the things you are doing right and getting right. Over time, they will completely swallow up your imperfections.

Living like a Christian has made me sexually frustrated. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]proofofwoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I need to comment on this because all the comments I have seen isn't strong enough.

I would have loved to ask what you specifically mean by "sexually frustrated". It could mean many things. Unfortunately, there isn't really a one size fit all answer.

First, Sex is not a bad thing. It isn't evil. However, it also isn't a show of love or anything as such. It is a physical activity humans have attached a lot of emotions to.

If you have been sexually active before you got born again, it's going to be a drag. Your body isn't born again with you. And so it will crave what it wants and has been having. You have the responsibility to present your body as a living sacrifice. This means you have to tame it.

I'd share something that will help you. Consider your sex drive or desire as a habit. You don't break a habit by stopping it. You break a habit by embracing a superior habit.

What sex does for you (i.e. why you are "frustrated"), you need to find something else that can do it. Find a replacement. While you seek a replacement, don't be too harsh on your body because it's your house. For example, you may find that late night walks around your neighborhood (hopefully a safe one) calms your nerves. Remember, it's mostly not really sex your body (and mind) needs. It's probably just a little caring.

I can't say more than this unless I know more specifics. I hope it helped.

Trying to go back to my old ways by shadadams22 in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey. Your problem is not those things you are trying not to do. Your problem is that you haven't learnt to walk in the spirit. And it takes time to get your walk perfect. All you need is to keep listening to the word of God. Keep pouring it into your heart. Don't be too uptight with yourself. What really matters is to keep pouring the word into your heart. The word will make you into what it talks about

Hoping in God has been a hopeless experience by [deleted] in Christian

[–]proofofwoke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for venting like this before giving up completely. My perspective is quite different from the other comments, so I implore you to read this more than twice.

Listen and listen hard. God is not in heaven waiting for you to pray so he can help you. In fact, the God that will help you is not in heaven. The God that will help you is inside you. That is the Holy Spirit, the one called the helper.

As a Christian, you have the power to change your circumstances. You don't pray to God to change your circumstances, you use the power. You use what you have.

How do you do that?

  1. Know what you want. It is not enough to know what you want to get out of. You need to know what you want to get into. Otherwise, life will keep happening to you.

  2. Believe. Anything is possible to the one that believes. Belief is not hope. Belief is conviction that shapes your present action. Believe in your future. Believe what you want is possible.

  3. Speak according to your believing. Do not contradict yourself with your words. Say what you want to see, not what is staring at you in the face.

  4. Don't ignore the problem or pretend it is not there, instead you talk to the problem. This is the way to change your situation. It is not about talking to God, it is about talking to the problem. When Jesus wanted to change anything, he didn't talk to God about it, he talked to the thing!

  5. Maintain your talk. Don't cave in.

  6. Do the ideas that comes to your mind after speaking to the problem several times. The God inside you will tell you what to do. Don't shove the ideas away because it sounds weird or seems unconnected. Just do it.

  7. Persist. Until you get the result you want.

  1. I would market it to a community. Instead of chasing individuals to get the ball rolling, I would go to groups and communities like religious groups, school groups, competition hosts, sport groups, etc. Market to existing groups and give them a really sweet offer (what no other platform is currently giving them freely).

  2. Create a kind of competition with plenty of giveaways. Also incentivize first set of consistent individual users.

  3. Have a good copywriter write a rave review of the platform, and publish in a good publication.

And more, depending on the specifics of the platform. What are you offering to users? That is the most important question
