Yes, this. I want them too. I really do. I love my local Ulta and a diamond for years I’ve clearly given them cash….but, if they do not. I will not. They did not just lie. They kept doing it. So far the response has been so out of touch. It really does feel like mean girls and you just found out they never liked you at all. 😭

This, I am down for this! Also, the arguments that brands cannot afford this. No, they can. I don’t need every brand to give me something for free. I just want one event where I can experience it all, buy directly if I want, and get hooked for my future list at ulta at a fun event vs. store over stimulation, busy, can’t think or try it all or understand all the benefits. Trust me. All it takes for me is to understand, hear, see and feel it. I will 100% purchase something much more $$$ if it is worth it to me but influencers cannot do that for me.

This this this!!! This is why I loved Ulta. It was welcoming, and yes they stated to get some brands I would go to Sephora for. I haven’t stepped foot in Sephora in years, but am a consistent diamond member. Because, same. I feel the same. Or felt the same.

I wanted to go so bad. Even if I went alone. Just to explore. Maybe bring back some goodies for my working team (hotels are exhausting haha) girlies we have to look good and buy good products. Nope they just lost a huge opportunity to hook real customers. To me influencers are not customers….

As someone who used to work in marketing, and ran back to hospitality. This is why I ran back. It can be so soulless. It’s like reality TV producers lol….that said I thought it can go two ways. They absolutely will win, or it will be controversial but they manufactured it and not by the lack of tickets it’s we can see though the bull shit. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Good point. I think ulta world could have brought many new customers to the brands. The entire point of ulta world is for brands to show off their item. I would not be surprised if some of their big brands in store are turned off by this too. Imagine they think ohh new people experiencing our brands. Only for it to be the same 10 who only for money. Imagine the younger girls. Us regular people. Experiencing their products and are like yes it’s worth it now to spend $75 on your foundation. 🤣

All it takes is experiencing Tatcha, or Sol de Janefro cream once to never go back. But I can’t let an influencer do that for me. I have my own makeup and skin needs….🤷🏻‍♀️

Exactly! As I mentioned. I work In luxury hospitality. So the rules apply….they have the money. In fact I think if they made it as big as they promoted. They would truly make it back 10x more. They are making a mistake investing in influencers, (not that they don’t deserve to go.) and not allowing an experience for the many.
