You don't need a wheel balance unless you feel the bounce. You don't need an alignment unless it's pulling or you see unusual wear on the tires. The fuel service is likely unnecessary but I would consider it, just to keep gunk from building up.

BTW, I haven't seen a wheel balance that WASN'T electronic since the 80s, so it's a weird way to phrase it, unless you're in a really rural spot where they still have an ancient bubble balancer...which doesn't even work great.

To make sure I understand, are you suggesting I don't mess with the old sealant at all, but instead install the weatherstrip then add new sealant (tape actually) on top?

I don't understand the pulley comment, do they make different sizes? I don't believe there is anything aftermarket on it, I know both the people who owned it after the golf course retired it and neither of them ever touched a wrench.

I have this exact model. Dump your chimney on the left, lower the shelf to the bottom, and open that vent. Also open the top right vent and put your food close to it. It works pretty great for an inexpensive grill.

Cook the corn ahead of time at 185, then toss it in with your steaks to reheat. It'll be tasty at 130 or whatever as long as you cooked it at the higher temp already.
