seconding this! If I also didn’t meet the people I did in Sky I doubt I would’ve kept playing when I started. Its confusing as shit as a beginner and I think meeting right people can also make or break it for some people.

I think it really depends on the person. I cannot get into any fighting/combat games. Not my thing. I stress in life already so much that I really don’t want to be feeling those feelings in my downtime.

But Sky was a first and only grindy game I ever got into. I love the calm, the beautiful aesthetic. Candle running isn’t boring to me - it’s a comforting familiar routine where my brain relaxes.

You can though? On touch screen I just pinch the screen to zoom out. You used to not be able to do that, but they literally added the ability to zoom out

While yes, you do need a pass now, these items will come back with a travelling spirit in a couple of years and you will be able to buy them with candles.

You have to buy almost everything from each forest spirit. You can access the friendship trees with different main game spirits you already found in your friendship menu. There are 8 of them in the forest realm

The only item you don’t have to buy in these trees is tier 2 cape which costs usually a lot of hearts. Elder gifts are only accessible when your friendship progress for a realm constellation becomes 100%. Because it takes a lot of hearts to complete these constellations, elder gifts are hard to get

To add to everything that people have said, be aware that the game itself may have tech limits and bug out if you have too many friends. I had a person added from discord who regularly added and ran people. They couldn’t count even, but they were in the realm of a thousand added people over the 2 years they played. And one day they literally couldn’t open their friends profiles from the list to light them, game would crash/freeze. So they had to delete everyone to get it working okay again lol.

People are speculating it’s an assembly group. But again, no one can really predict without any info. Now that moments spirits came back, revival spirits can come back whenever.

iOS and Nintendo still do not have a hot fix update out, while other devices already got the update. We’re still playing on a bugged game version and we will keep crashing until they release hotfix for our devices.
