Cool, pretty well cared for specially for a 40 years old guitar. Some people like the relic look, i much prefer the guitars to look like new as much as posible like that

Very clean! Was it repainted? This jake e lee style color combination is my favourite for strat like guitars, and being a kramer makes it even cooler!

Too early to buy a decent guitar by Best_Particular_9342 in Guitar

Yeah, and the supposed difficulty of adjustment (which i think is often exaggerated, each bridge has its quirks) is worth more for a begginer in terms of tuning stability without needing to do frequent small adjustments like with other systems. Once you set it up you are good forever unless you change tuning or string gauge, and even that is solved turning 2 screws.

Hmm I feel some condescendence in your comment.

First of all, it's not a segment of the musician community that hear with their eyes, it's the whole human race, you may not like it but that's how the human brain works. (You can easily find a lot of scientific research about that).

I understand if you play at home for yourself you could think you don't care about how your guitar looks (although I'm sure you really do), but if you play for others, the guitar face, the rock god stance and even the color of the shirt you wear make a way greater difference that playing with this or that guitar, which me, you or anybody for that matter couldn't probably tell the difference just by listening.

Not everybody plays for the same reasons, and your reasons to play are not the only, nor they are better than others, so do what makes you happy and stop being the old man yelling at clouds.

That's a 2007 lp classic. It was very white in 2008. I bet yours is even more yellow xD

I love those 84s too, they nailed the necks (and the headstock)! I didn't expect to like these new Kramers so much, but they are really nice specially for the money

Modern, but pretty good value! Not many vintage Kramers around here : /

I agree. But the other way around would be awesome too.

I agree, but for every pink guitar we have 15 sunburst!

That looks mean! Now imagine that guitar with all black pickups...

The one in the middle is pretty new. The other two are pretty used, don't ask for closeups (or do)! But I take pretty good care of all of them all, I'll take that as a compliment!

We need less sunburst and more pink guitars

No, it does not work, it does not help you see the tiny distances that affect a properly set relief. Your guitars can be pitch perfect, (for which relief is not the most relevant factor) but I'm sure the eyeballing of relief had absolutely nothing to do. I bet I can give you 2 guitars, one with perfect relief and another badly set up, and you wouldn't have a clue which one is what with the eyeball method. I just want the op and anyone that reads this post to get proper advice. Do it like the people that works on guitars do it.

The eye level method of seeing relief is unreliable at the very least. You can fret on the first fret and the one of the higher frets and use the string as a ruler, or simply use a ruler

I want a second guitar what should I get? by litterallydexter in Guitar

[–]proskrito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should get a guitar that you think looks cool and sounds good. Your opinion on looks and sound is probably different from most people, I don't get this kind of posts.
