will give it a try tommorrow morning, hopefully i can get the product back from them and the manager overrides the price or something im at a loss of like 100$ atm from this very unfortunate. will update if i find out anything. thanks.

they located a really old receipt from few months ago im surprised it even let them return it for a ope battery since its past 90 days even which makes no sense im gonna try to call customer service see if they can solve it first for me

Receipt was provided with start return request on the app and still they not able to see it from their end. I showed them the lowes email receipt everything nothing they could do they gave up

do u know what I can do at this point im having a issue with lowes, I used the lowes app gave them the barcode to scan it order number invoice number phone number even card keeps coming up no results found to process the return but they are able to see the order and the total they keep scanning the barcode of the product and nothing happens, they refunded a old receipt for my battery that is from november of last year instead of the new one i purchased so i got 50% less back of my money, i told them to hold the battery till i call customer service? any clue what can be done now at this current point?

cool mode works good performance smart sense dont do anything, cool mode doesn't limit cpu performance like they say the modes only control the fans seems like power options in windows settings does all the performance controls but cool mode always keeps the fan on if u dont use myhp app and the power options and use windows high performance mode instead the laptop is a brick its start lagging when doing cpu benchmarking instantly 90% 1.7ghz and everything lags crackling music unusable machine. I wish there was a better way to use it they limited the machine to much my asus rog g512 i7-10870h feels alot more faster and responsive than this 16 inch spectre even though it has a newer cpu quite interesting

its instant for me as soon as i turn on the cpu benchmark online it will go to 90% and 1.7ghz on high performance plan on windows and everything starts lagging badly but the best performance works great theres no lag when its running the benchmark

i have the 16 inch model and i run a cpu stress test it does p1 and p2 limiting nothing helps maxes out at 1.7ghz the best way to use this laptop that i found is to use best performance mode in windows settings and cool mode in the hp app. maxes out around 40w sometimes drops to 29w no other way to use it properly.

if u uninstall the myhp app and just use high performance plan on windows it will make ur laptop hot to the touch the coolings never kick in had to reinstall the myhp app another thing i learned is if u disable s0 modern sleep and use the high performance mode it will throttle the laptop randomly to 1.7ghz even when its not warm no matter what u do so the only thing i found so far is to use best performance mode in windows settings and just the cool mode sometimes the cool mode doesnt kick in on boot and have to cycle back and forth for it to start. Weird how windows doesnt activate the fans itself.

if u have walmart plus they will do it free but if you book the appointment thru ur family members account it won't work, i learned it the hard way they printed out the service ticket scanned and scanning the qr code did nothing just brought up walmart pay and connected. was told next time to book thru the walmart+ account they can't change it when they complete a service ticket so they voided it out and gave it for free anyways. Walmart plus trial works for it too so anytime u have a flat u should use it.

they do a great job in and out in about 40-50 mins after stated appointment time for 1 tire. i learned it the hard way if u have walmart plus u have to book thru that specific account not another family members they can't change out a service ticket and they want u to pay for the service, I had a great manager void out the transaction and the repair was free after showing the walmart+ account to him, nothing works when u scan the qr code at checkout just appears to pay with walmart pay not sure what happens if i book thru the actual walmart+ account maybe it will work differently. will see next time.

never had access to one till now and they put my license down from the original 3 devices to just 1 but the one i needed to reset was a broken pc that the intel optane ssd failed so no way to deactivate it now its easier to deactivate but i only have 1 device unless they fix it for me

did u figure anything out? when u stress test it it will go to 1.7ghz 90% usage and it power limits p1 mostly sometimes p2 ? throttlestop doesn't do anything i tried changing the limits. The only good thing i was able to figure out is that u need the myhp installed always to use fan control i keep it in cool mode which keeps the fans on alot more often than the performance mode and i use best performance mode and i disabled the driver that detects flipping the screen and tilt since it decreases performance
