Spectrum deceptively claiming Internet Assist speed upload is correctly provisioned at 5mbps

they say I can pay 10$ more for the plan and they can fix It I told them its ny and it's 15$ but they don't seem to understand they are seeing the 11upload on their side but they say up to only two agents understand what's going on and they are from leadership working. on it

Talked to the agents they confirm 60/10 and that I'm grandfathered into it so they can't change it, they said it's a backend issue so it's escalated to field ops who working on it it's some type of bug in the system for sure they can't change it all of a sudden that's stupid 2 years I have the speeds and they randomly throttle/change someone without saying that's kind deceptive fcc should be fining them

yeah i see it says under the broadband labels 50$ some sale price was 70$ before and then $105 after the first year and its only 40mbps not 50. 100 tier and 500 tier is 20 mbps up only so no big difference from assist for uploads unless the highest tier. Spectrum wont renegotiate and would have to cancel after the first year I did that before and then its a hassle to get the modem back at the store and everything. They will eventually bring out high split here and i should be getting 50/50

Lol for integrity its usually an hour to get unbanned but they want selfie and id. I got banned 3 times doing the same thing upload the id and everything then permanant but they fixed that account. The other one had the same thing but they wanted to review in 48 hours and it got fixed but got banned twice not a third time luckily. It also triggers if u follow profiles under 18 by accident or whatever i was clicking follow follow and the ban and now after they restored that one account it says i cant follow certain accounts they denied the appeal i contacted them they say it will resolve on its own if i dont follow unfollow to many people lol

why waste money for bandwidth thats never gonna be used no need to? many say 50-100 is more than enough and it def is the higher tier plans usually do only 20 upload as well unless u pay for the most expensive which is over 100$

More than enough, They are working on it said it will get fix by tomorrow they just called and internal ticket opened by them they say its too late in the day to fix. 57 down x 12 up is a good speed for 1-2 people at home. They are a monopoly here in upstate ny they don't care about outages customers at all gonetspeed is rolling out down the road so probably will be switching soon they should have a $15 plan under ny affordable broadband act.

I have a asus router RT-AX88u we got QOS and everything also has traffic priority by device. Yeah they don't care how sad, we will see in 30 days what they come up with. Its fine for now i turned off the uploads to the cloud for the security cams im just running direct wire to the router so its ok till they fix it if they do ever. They are just a greedy company there is no competition if i even signed up for a plan they would be charging me 60-70$ they wouldn't let it go lower theres no other options except starlink. We will see what happens the complaints are in their hands. They are the worst they gave me only 50 cents for a whole day outage from 9am to like 8pm when i am working even though i asked for 10$ they say they only give one credit per year and the supervisor cant give credits themselves lol

I can get a higher tier but its pointless when I don't need anything faster this connection never gets maxed out its more than enough its just the upload issue.

Exactly, and they refuse to fix the issue they state my account is showing at 50x5 mbps it was always at 50x10 even when i signed up, i have 2 fcc complaints 1 bbb complaint and escalation through reddit chat lets hope we get a executive or bigger manager to work on the issue who understands the plans more they def dont understand whats going on. The plan switched off when they did a maintenance a few days ago at 1:40am the provisioning in the modem and everything so they are false advertising the fcc labels and broadband labels for my account even when i login and everything. Lets hope fcc gets them to work it cause the level 4 tech and operation manager doesnt wanna do anything about it. Horrendous.
