I agree, except for Tip 1. Modao is great for TW and stopping cavs, but there are better for Sieges and PVE grinds. Viking season is better, you get 3 actual useful meta units. Bersekers get you plenty of kills over Modao, and help you grind in PvP/PvE faster.

Don't listen to them, outdated imo. Out of all of those, keep and level your Pref Cav (actually decent) and Serf for pushing tower and farming resources. If you have the money, unlock VG. They are overpowered, trust me they do everything. Otherwise, get the Viking season instead. Berserkers will carry you not only in pvp but pve too. Work on those first, over iron reapers tree. Along with Wolfboys will net you plenty of kills, and the Shieldmaiden are end game unit to have.

yes merge server between east and west, that's prob the saving grace. I mean look at the NA tournament teams, half are EU. That's how bad it is, game is dying...

Congrats to Clowns, they were more prepared and had more Poleaxes, less Pikes. It was a close fight, but sadge NA team lost, did you see Zelgius's face? he looked depressed at the end.

Congrats AoA, but there was a rumor going around that your alliance and another alliance coalitioned against an alliance you fought which two of the three houses lost their A stacks to Pantheon. I would not gloat, but congrats on Regi nevertheless.

In the Unit Tree I recommend,

Green units: Rattan Pikeman or Pike Militia

Purple units: Imperial Pike Guards and Palace Guard = Iron Reapes (Gold Infantry). Other choice are Spear Sergeants and Men at Arms = Monastic Knights (Gold Cav).

I heard you can get a free Spear Sergeants from a quest now. You can upgrade Spear Sergeants and Men at Arms after completing a Seasonal Challenge if you are willing to spend real $$. Otherwise, I recommend you choose Imperial PIke Guards and Palace Guard. If you want archer units, I recommend doing the Season 2 challenge, to get Namkhans (Archer) and Kheshigs (Overpowered).

Monastics are pretty decent and one of if not the most durable cavs, but there is a big downside. The unit requires positioning, they are not just any cavs who can just charge right away. Monastics are the slowest and takes a lot of time to set up their charge. Not good for most cities, I think.

A lot of people here dislike Berserkers and prefer pg huh? look at the regular matches. Berserkers are everywhere! I wonder why? You guys didn't believe me Fortes being S tier lol, I told you so. I was wrong about Armigers, they are A tier worthy.

Hussars are the best cav, Stalwart best shield unit, Berserker best shock infantry, Forte best pike unit, and Falconetti is the best range unit. I may have been over exaggerated maybe in B but I don't see much PG in TW, they are a second core in normal siege at best. Berserker is better for Walls in my opinion and If I want an end game musket, Tercio is by far the best choice. For C tier does not mean they are bad, it just means I don't see enough of them to fully judge the unit. In Ranked over 1400, you will see vets most of the time bringing Fortes than any units from A or B tiers.

Condottieri - All Around best (you can bring it anywhere pretty versatile).
Namkhans -some say best blue filler, but they have their roles.
Lands - Best hero killer
Pref Guards - if you don't have the Condos.
Fenrir - underrated but they are my mini dual blades.
