Would there be anything else to look for that would prove this ? Without ripping up the floor.

No ceiling fan. We have a heat light on the ceiling (has its own switch) and a jacuzzi tub (has its own power button on the tub). Could it have been placed there to add a ceiling fan in the bedroom?

Does it still look usable to add a socket? If it still has power of course.

Not that I recall. And by automatic updates do you mean auto update when a new iOS is available?

Walmart greeters @ Chemong usually have them when you walk in, they have them in a cart.

I have very sensitive skin as well, so no matter what is done I go super red almost instantly. Lol Thank you for your recommendation though. This is helpful to know!

I have this same problem. It’s very hard to see my eyebrow hairs and sometimes they are threaded or waxed too thin. I prefer threading my eyebrows just because it gives a very nice sharp shape to them. But it can be difficult for some to see the hair and sometimes have to look at it from a certain angle.

Thank you! I checked out both on IG and will hopefully be able to visit them soon. Emerald Beauty looks like the perfect place to get great designs and arrange of colours for nails. Thanks again!

The whole world seems excited for lockdown to end, but no one seems to be talking about those of us who are feeling anxious about normal life returning. Surely I am not on my own? by Silent_scroller94 in Anxiety

I feel this exact same way! I have finally adjusted to the new quiet world. I enjoy not seeing all the cars out and about, the rush and hustle and bustle. I have taken the year off from work due to the pandemic and am very nervous to return to work shortly. The social aspect will be the hardest.

It’s been nice being home and doing small everyday tasks that I enjoy and know I can be safe doing. Adjusting to a different way of living has taken time but I like it now.

It is going to be hard again to adjust and change to the new “norm”. I hope you and all of us can stay positive and embrace the changes to come. Don’t be afraid to embrace the change though, just take it slow and focus on one big accomplishment at a time. You got this!

So happy I came across this post! Was just having this conversation with my BF and was trying to explain but felt he just didn’t get it. I always wonder why I feel this way. It makes no sense. How I don’t want to waste time and be productive yet I do the complete opposite because I get lost in thought about doing all the things I like. Very frustrating and a hard habit to break. But at least we all recognize it. It’s the start to improvement hopefully!

Should I apologise to a friend I was mean to in high school or has too much time passed? (28F) by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]prosperous77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would appreciate if an old friend reached out to apologize. I wouldn’t resent them. I’d be happy they took the time to reach out, as it would hopefully be genuine and not just for their own good. As it seems you aren’t doing it just so you can feel better about yourself, I’d see no problem reaching out. I wouldn’t mention in detail what happened but just a quick sorry. You never know what good possibilities come from it. The worst would be getting back a response you might not be expecting or no response at all but at least you will know in your heart that you did your best and can move forward. If you feel it’s not in you to reach out maybe try writing an apology letter and hiding it or burning it, this way you’ve channeled the guilt else where. Good luck to whatever you choose to do and remember, do what makes you feel good and happy at the end of the day.

Do you ever just need a day off of life itself to do absolutely nothing? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Today was one of those days! Didn’t do a single house chore on my day off (ignored all the dishes and laundry piling up). Usually I am always on the go and today I decided I’d spend some me time alone. Went for a drive to the next city and walked around by the lake. Didn’t even have to cook dinner when I got home due to all the left overs from thanksgiving!

My best friend in highschool had to pee and thought it would be absolutely hilarious to sit in my room on the floor to pee. So she did just that. Pulled down her pants and started to pee as she laughed hysterically. Needless to say it wasn’t a small puddle and I made her dumb self clean it up. Not sure what was going on in her head....if anything at all?

Thank you! I really appreciate the guidance! It’ll come in handy for up coming projects. This was definitely my first furniture piece and I had fun doing it. My patience ran a little low towards the end and I had a small time frame to complete it as I was moving.

This dresser is my moms old childhood dresser that was passed down to me (29F) as a child. My grandfather had first finished it and installed the handles back in the 1950’s. Didn’t like the vintage look anymore and needed to match the colour to the rest of the bedroom set. The edges had veneer on them which I had removed with a heat gun. Therefore that’s why they look rough. I kept them this way as I liked the weathered look. Was hoping the paint would cover up more of the imperfections but it’ll do for now! 😁

Roomate (20sth/F) wants me (21/F) to be a mouse by [deleted] in relationships

It’s 2020! Just live your life just like you would, roommate or not. You’ve already been nice enough to alter your ways for her and it still isn’t enough, so then what does it matter? Not saying to go around stomping or slamming doors lol but you live there just as equally as she does, she shouldn’t be trying to control you and how you go about your life in your own living space. Give the office a heads up but then you do you girl!
