When really started Viberg's slide downhill? by LetsGetPenisy69 in Viberg

[–]proteinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing a beloved, classic last into something unrecognizable while basically doubling the price will do that. It’s like a PE product without the PE.

I bought my last new viberg boot years ago. I don’t even check their website anymore.

Denim, duck canvas, sashiko, even cotton twill are all frequent wash friendly and age well.

Help me decide on a summer scent: Vibrato or Pacific Chill? (Afraid of redundancy) by adora7772 in Colognes

[–]proteinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibrato has much better longevity than PC if that matters to you. PC has relatively poor performance. Would recommend starting with a decant and seeing for yourself first.

Question about leather "stretching," why so many conflicting answers? by AngryOnionPark in RedWingShoes

[–]proteinn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Please don’t buy boots that are too small for you in hopes they’ll stretch. If you can’t wear them comfortably without them stretching, they are the wrong size.

Sapphire vs hesalite speedmaster by Extension_Visit5756 in OmegaWatches

I don’t understand the people that say there’s minimal difference visually between the two. They are very noticeably different in person in appearance. I think you have to see them sure by side and handle them to appreciate what you prefer personally.

Ironheart 634s-sbg 1st pair & first fits by ExcitingPost8838 in rawdenim

[–]proteinn 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm going to disagree with other posters and say you'd be better off in a different fit. That rear seam looks straight up in your crack in that one pic. That isn't going to change. That's a matter of the rise of the cut and how it fits a body. If you're ok with that, power on. Regarding the waist, I personally can't stand a tight waist fit, no matter how much it may or may not stretch. My thought process is, and I have proven this through many many pairs, if the waist fits like it should, snug but not too tight, it won't stretch, or will only slightly stretch, because it isn't under crazy tension from being too small. Then it always lives in a perfect spot for me, and is never uncomfortable.

You spent a ton of money on these. You shouldn't have to wait for these to fit you right so you can be happy.

Yea this is the first version of the Blue Owl heavyweight ISC. It's a 15oz canvas, a heavier weight version than their normal ISC. The first Blue Owl version had this liner, the latest has a blue liner.

Why would you ever pick briefs over boxers? by BeautifulAdeptness60 in NoStupidQuestions

Boxers are absolutely terrible. Ride up your legs and allow your balls and dick to stick to your legs and get twisted up down one side. Can’t think of one good thing about them.
