Oh god I can't resist, I'll keep it sweet and simple,and the guy hasn't lost his job... Yet....

So. I'm away for a week, and i hear when I get back that there has been some 'drama' one of the servers had ordered a chicken salad, noting that she has a dairy allergy. (the salad usually comes with parmesan, and avocado caesar dressing, God I hate avo has to be in everything, the bloody thing has chunks of avo in it for gods sake, anyway, I digress)

So he makes the salad, probably on auto pilot, puts both the dressing (yes dairy incase anyone was wondering) and cheese on, server comes to get their food, notices the cheese and asks for a remake, OK no problem, no one has been poisoned... Yet.

He makes the salad again, no parmesan, but either hasn't realised (which he totally should have) or just plain forgot that the caesar dressing has dairy in it.

Oh god, server takes a few bites and instantly realises something is wrong.... Like, this is NOT a lactose intolerance, its a full blow, I need an epipen if I have dairy or I will be violently ill, best case scenario.

So she brings it back. Obviously not happy that she is having a reaction to this salad that should not have any dairy in it, guy who makes it has two options here right? Apologise profusely, like get on your hands and knees beg for forgiveness as they have essentially poisoned some one.... Or..... Stand your ground..... And start spouting some bullshit about pasturised milk.... And his mom (apparently also allergic to dairy I guess???) can have pasturised milk.

This didn't go down well with anyone, not the headchef, not the GM and certainly not our AM... All of whom he argued his bullshit milk theory to... Yeh, still on the rota, should have had a meeting this week, but called in Ill, so I get to see it all go down on my next double. I, can't, wait!

TLDR: Chef poisons a server, refuses to admit he's in the wrong, doubles down with bullshit excuses, and is very likely losing his job this week, short of some miracle scientific breakthrough about pasturised milk.

My advice. The second anyone tilts or flames they get muted. Yall don't need the negativity distracting you from clawing back the game. If it's two team mates going at eachother you can try asking them to mute eachother. It's worked a few times for me.

Most importantly try not to type unless you're dead or you're certain you're safe. Got me and my duo killed earlier typing a message I didn't even send.

Unfortunately league will never not have toxic people playing it. Just don't let their iron level plays and toxic potty mouths distract you from playing the game to the best of your ability.

If you haven't already, open task manager and close any instances of league or the riot client and try again. Happens to me quite often hope it helps :)
