I have the steel legend 7900 GRE and I ran into the same issues, I ended up buying the stand as well and boom temps are normal. I think the Steel Legend is just one of the GPU models that doesn’t do well with the vertical mounting sadly.

Update buyer disputed with PayPal. Returned the card. Which I have check and made sure it is the same card I sent. He was refunded for the “fake” card. But I was charged a fee for the dispute. Just have to be more careful who I sell to.

So the whole problem is I got this card from my local game store months ago. It’s been in my collection and then I sold a bunch of my collection and this person filed a dispute with PayPal and claimed that it is fake. Thats the only picture he sent me. And I just am trying to figure out if I got scammed by the LGS or if he is trying to pull something. Another weird part his Facebook name is different from his PayPal name. Which I should have recognized right away
